18- Adding Movie/Video File to an iWeb Page via the Export for Web Menu Option in Quicktime Player This will create a simple feedback form that will email the contents of the text box to the email address of your choice with the Subject title that you choose for the emails. 1 - Open the movie file in Quicktime Player and go to the File->Save for Web menu option.

2 - In the next window select Desktop option.

3 - Click on Export and when the process is finished you’ll have a folder on the Desktop with the same name as the text in the Save As field.

4 - In that folder will the the following items.

5 - open the ReadMe.html file in your editor of choice and delete everything between the following tags: a. <body> and <script type="text/javascript"> b. </noscript> and </body> 6 - Save the document as plain text. 7 - Upload the folder to your iDisk/Movies folder. 8 - Open iWeb and in the page you want to add the movie to open an HTML Snippet and add the following code:

For the blue URL you should use your MobileMe account name and your movie folder name in place of Test Movie. The width pixel value should be 20 pixels greater than the movie's width and the height 30 pixels greater than the movie's height. This will allow for the movie to be centered in the snippet and have the controller visible. You may have to adjust the values as necessary.
