In a Mensa IQ test, Harrison Kaye, aged 11, scored the highest mark possible (162), making him one of the youngest people ever to do so. Harrison’s score places him in the World’s top 1%, with any mark over 140 being considered pure genius. By achieving 162, he also has a higher score than Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking and Steve Jobs, who all obtained 160.
Prestigious Essay Prize Hugh Williamson was awarded Oxford University’s prestigious GA Wainwright Schools Essay Prize. Hugh’s 5,000 word essay featured on the University of Oxford website. His prize was awarded by the Gerald Averay Wainwright Fund, which aims to encourage the study of the nonclassical archaeology of the Middle East. Hugh left MGS in July and is studying Egyptology and Near Eastern Studies at Oxford.
