Care of Creation will be the focus value for the 2025-26 school year

ENROLLMENT

T e enrollment for 2025-2026 is 134, with approximately 38% male and 62% female. Students come from over 15 di ff erent middle schools in five counties in souteastern Indiana and southwestern Ohio. Approximately 90% of students are Catholic and 10% are of other denominations/faiths.

DRESS CODE

T e everyday uniform includes khaki or navy tailored pants (men/women), plaid skirt (women), and embroidered navy or white OA polo or white oxford shirts. Everyday outerwear may be navy, gray, white, or black 1/4 zips or crew neck sweatshirts and should be branded with the OA logo. Hoodies may only be worn on spirit days. Formal uniform for men includes navy pants, white oxford shirt with navy tie and OA vest or navy blazer and for women includes a plaid skirt, white oxford shirt and OA vest or navy blazer.

SERVICE

A total of 60 hours of service and volunteer activities are expected of all students during their four years at OA. Students are involved in volunteer and service activities reflective of the Franciscan Sponsorship Values. Students who reach 100 service hours will be recognized with a Centennial Service Award, and students who reach 500 service hours will be recognized with the Franciscan Service Award.

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Oldenburg Academy students will have the opportunity to participate in the Assisi Scholars Pilgrimage that will be held in the Spring of 2026. OA partners with the Faces and Our Cultures Exchange Program and Inspired Gateways to enrich our student’s high school experience.

MISSION MONDAY & CLASS SCHEDULE

On Mission Mondays different grade levels will participate in retreats, service opportunities, internships, immersive educational experiences, and college visits without missing instructional time. Mission Mondays will also provide faculty with dedicated time for ongoing professional development to bring innovative teaching practices into their classrooms. Students will be able to connect with faculty from 1:00 - 3:00 PM for personalized enrichment opportunities.

ACADEMICS

ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES

OA o ff ers 12 Advanced Placement courses, which are more heavily weighted in terms of GPA due to the advanced nature of the information covered. T ese courses o ff er students the opportunity to do college level work while they are still in high school, and earn college credit hours based on their scores on the National Advanced Placement Exams taken in May each year. AP courses are listed on the course list.

DUAL CREDIT COURSES

Oldenburg Academy o ff ers 16 Dual Credit courses in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College. Dual Credit is an option for high school students to simultaneously take college classes while in high school, to receive college credit, and to fulfill high school requirements. Current Dual Credit course o ff erings are indicated with an asterix in the course list.

COLLEGE TO CAREER READINESS PROGRAM

100% of seniors participate in a work-based learning internship or capstone project to culminate their high school experience and become familiar with real-world applications of their intended college major. Juniors also take part in a fellowship program designed to give them hands-on, real-world experience in a professional setting. Students are challenged to go above and beyond the textbook and apply their knowledge, assisting them in narrowing down their college major—thus preparing them for college, all the way to their career.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Te Class of 2025 earned over $6.3 million in college scholarships. Of the 39 graduates, 95% are pursuing post-secondary education and 5% are entering the U.S. Military, one student was named a Lilly Endowment Scholarship Finalist, and 17 were recognized as Academic All-State Honorees.

HONORS DIPLOMA & INDIANA

COLLEGE CORE 30

Out of the 39 graduates in the Class of 2025, 77% earned Indiana Academic Honors Diplomas and 49% completed the Indiana College Core 30 curriculum through Ivy Tech Community College, giving them a strong foundation for college-level coursework.
