Love, Simon Film & Panel Discussion The film, Love, Simon, is based on the acclaimed novel, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, by Becky Albertalli. Everyone deserves a great love story, but for 17-year-old Simon Spier, it’s a little more complicated. Spier hasn’t yet told his family or friends he’s gay and he doesn’t know the identity of the anonymous classmate he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing. A panel discussion will follow the film with time for input from the audience. Refreshments will be provided. Rated PG-13 for thematic elements, sexual references, language and teen partying.
Sunday, June 24 at Olathe Downtown Love, Simon Showing: 1 pm Panel Discussion: 3 pm Presented in cooperation with Olathe Human Relations Commission and JoCo Q-Space.
