D. LANCE MARSH Professor of Acting and Head of Performance

D. Lance Marsh serves as head of performance and as a professor in the School of Theatre where he teaches many of the upper division acting courses, including Chekhov, Shakespeare, Greek Tragedy, Audition Techniques and Comedy. He directed "Cosi", which was a Region VI Finalist production in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Lance also serves as the Associate art director for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park where he has directed several productions.

BASS SCHOOL OF MUSIC

Dr. David Herendeen Professor of Music; Director of Opera and Music Theater

Since his hire in 1997, Herendeen has directed and produced hundreds of musicals, operas, and plays.

His productions of "Gianni Schicchi/Pagliacci" and "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" won first place in the National Opera Associations Opera Performance Competition. Most importantly his teaching and guidance has launched the careers of hundreds of young artists and his leadership and devotion to the OKCU legacy has solidly established OCU as one of the nation's premiere training programs in opera, musical theater, and theatre.

Kelli Stevens Professor of Dance

Kelli holds a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership Studies in Higher Education from Oklahoma State University and is a summa cum laude graduate of Oklahoma City University, where she received her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. Her choreography has been featured on various specials, nationally televised on TLC, CMT and PBS. Her written work has been published in The Huffington Post and Dance Studio Life magazine.

Jeff Price Professor of Game Design and Animation

Jeff Price received his B.F.A. in Visual Communications from the University of Oklahoma and an M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jeff has a background in game design, electronic media, interactive communications, and graphic design. Jeff's students have gone on to work at industry giants such as Dreamworks, Sony Imageworks, Digital Domain, ID Software, Imaginary Forces, Magnet Interactive, Organic, Blur, Midway Games, and Big Idea.

Cene' Livingston Assistant ProfessorSchool of Nursing

Cene’ Livingston, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CNE, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix while working fulltime as a practical nursing instructor and medical-surgical nurse. Cene’ works parttime as a primary care provider in a nurse practitioner-owned family practice in Oklahoma City and volunteers for Fundacion Manos Juntas free clinic, where she also sits on the board of directors.

MEINDERS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Susan Jurney Associate Professor of Accounting Accounting

Dr. Jurney specializes in teaching taxation and financial accounting. Her research interests are primarily judgment and decision making of taxpayers, tax professionals, and nonprofessional investors. Dr. Jurney’s research has been presented in numerous national academic conferences, such as the American Accounting Association. Her current research examining generational differences in perceptions of fairness and tax compliance attitudes has been cited in The New York Times.

MEET SOME OF OUR NOTABLE ALUMNI Bailey Perkins - BA Political Science & History ‘12 Perkins works as the outreach and legislative liaison at the Oklahoma Policy Institute, where she is responsible for representing the Oklahoma Policy Institute at the Oklahoma State Capitol during legislative sessions, as well as working closely with advocacy groups and coalitions in the Oklahoma City area.

Madi Alexander - Political Science/Mass Communications ‘14 Alexander is a multimedia journalist whose works have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Reuters, CNN, and more. She is currently a data journalist for Bloomberg Government in Washington, D.C.

Charlie Ludden - BS Marketing ‘09 Ayssette Munoz - Acting ‘13 Munoz is an actress and company member at Teatro Vista and The Alliance of Latinx Theater Artists of Chicago. Television credits include “Chicago P.D.,” and she was featured as the Chicago Tribune’s “Top 10 New Faces of Chicago Theater” in 2015.

Ludden works as a development manager for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Oklahoma County, whose mission it is to provide trained volunteers to be a champion for the individualized best interests of children in foster care.

Kristen Bailey-Mills - Nursing ‘13 In 2014, Bailey was recognized as an Outstanding Nursing Alumnus by the Kramer School of Nursing for implementing a new fall risk program at the Oklahoma City hospital where she worked. The program was based on a project she had completed during her last semester of school. She now works as a Family Nurse Practitioner for FusionMD in Oklahoma City.

Rick McKee - Music Composition ‘09 McKee works as a music producer out of Orlando, FL. His works range from television specials to theme parks, firework shows, parades, commercials, jingles, ride soundtracks, and cruise lines. He served as an arranger on both an Emmy-nominated song in 2009, and an Emmy Award-winning song in 2011.

His music can be found on over 30 Walt Disney Record releases.

Sasha Hutchings - Dance Performance ‘11 Hutchings was a member of the original ensemble of the hit musical “Hamilton.”

She is currently performing in "My Fair Lady" on Broadway. Sasha is also in the current TV Show "Fosse/Verdon."

Robert Postotnik - Entertainment Business ‘17 Postotnik works for the award-winning global entertainment agency AKA NYC as an art director. Working crossplatform, he oversees campaigns from concept to production executions in print and digital. Current clients include: “Harry Potter & the Cursed Child,” “Anastasia: The Musical,” “Big Apple Circus,” “Groundhog Day: The Musical,” “A Bronx Tale,” “New York Botanical Garden,” “Significant Other,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.”
