Call it “Geometree”—the ability to take an unusual lot and fashion a unique design that meshes seemingly incompatible curves and angles, with a final result that provides striking treetop sightlines. “It was an odd diamond-shaped site. But we just manipulated the geometries to fit it into this restrictive envelope,” relates Paul duBellet Kariouk, founder of Kariouk Architects. 46
