EBI Distribution Spring 2017
The EBI College Union Survey is distributed on an annual basis during the spring semester by the Oglesby Union Education and Assessment Team. The purpose of the EBI College Union survey is to improve the services, programs, practices and procedures through implementation of internal and external benchmarking. Students are asked to rate their satisfaction with the current operations of the Oglesby Union. The Education and Assessment team were able to acquire 460 of the 500 surveys provided by EBI, with the assistance of various Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), Oglesby Union Areas, Campus Partners, Student Government Association Senate, Congress of Graduate Students, and Agencies. Surveys were also acquired from students in the Union locations such as the student lounges, Union Food Court, Union Green, and Union events like Friday Night Bites and Market Wednesday. Oglesby Union Areas Oglesby Union Areas participated in the 2016 EBI College Union Survey by asking student volunteers and leaders to give their feedback of Oglesby Union practices and procedures. Below is the list of Union Areas that participated in the 2016 EBI College Union Survey distribution: • Askew Student Life Center Film Committee • Union Board • Crenshaw Lanes: Men’s and Women’s • Union Productions Bowling Teams • Guest Services • Peer Involvement Mentors • Fraternity and Sorority Life • SOAR Board • Homecoming General Student Population The Union Education and Assessment team utilized the help of Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) by attending meetings and events and asking members of different executive boards to encourage their members to complete the EBI College Union Survey. Below are RSOs which assisted in the completion of the 2016 EBI College Union Surveys: • Delta Sigma Pi • SISTUHS • CARE GBM • Progressive Black Men Campus Partners Campus Partners assisted in the Education Assessment team by encouraging students to participate in the 2016 EBI College Union Survey.
