What is your role / position in relation to obtaining a cleaner world? "I combine my skills as a freelance project manager, organizer and communications with my ideals for a world that is more balanced. That includes the classes with. I Laveer thereby between betting me on a voluntary basis for a better world, for example in the repair café and the think tank, and paid assignments, such as the guest lecturer and sustainability projects. What / who inspired you, encouraged to pursue your ideals in this area? 'Small and big. Firstly my children and their future dreams. In addition, a strong inner feeling I had as a child that something is wrong in the world. The way of life of indigenous peoples very fascinated me. Finally, world leaders as Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi. Determined and confident without fuss. The statement of Gandhi "Be the change you want to see in the world now forms the basis of my actions. "

What would you give young people? "Substantive awareness of the influence and impact on the environment of the things you random is doing. Young people do not realize that they are a link in a system. If the system cannot correct one link affects the whole system. Never think you cannot change anything that you No difference can make_ Every individual can: belief in your own abilities. I integrate in the host classes, because they are of course practical classes where awareness is central and dedicated a limited part in action perspective. Thinking and doing. "

What would you tell teachers? That the major environmental challenge that we have in the world belongs in the classroom. Lessons must keep space for reflection on real life outside school. Topics such as eating meat, the use of pesticides and the effects of water on grassland birds, the causes of climate change, the impacts on bio-diversity and man, the transition to a circular economy are daily news. Each box would connect to set themselves a target thereon. Independent learning to think and reflect at their own actions is an essential quality that should teach young people in the future to make the right choices •
