OF INTRODUCTION OF BILL 21-6 WORCESTER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Take Notice that Bill 21-6 (Public Safety – Kari’s Law) was introduced by Commissioners Bertino, Bunting, Church, Elder, Mitrecic, Nordstrom and Purnell on May 18, 2021. A fair summary of the bill is as follows: § PS 6-301 A legislative bill for the purpose of implementing MD. Code, Public Safety § 1-314 (known as “Kari’s Law”) to require that multiple-line telephone systems allow for direct dialing via 9-1-1.
