Hello! My name is Katelyn Steele and I am this year’s OCC VOA President. I have been an active member of Venturing for three years in crew 616 and last year I served on the VOA as the VP Programs Support. This year our events are all very exciting and are going to be great activities for all of our crews in Orange County, and with each forum we are implementing fun helpful activities to enrich the crew experience. I hope to see you out there!

Venturing Fest 2018! At Summit Bechtel Reserve Heads up to everyone: Venturing Fest 2018 is coming around the corner!! For those of you that don’t know, Venturing Fest commemorates 20 years of Venturing. This amazing six-day high-adventure experience is filled with climbing, zip lining, COPE courses, paddle boarding, kayaking, shooting, BMX, and other amazing activities from the Summit. It will be a life-changing journey and you will gain some of the best memories of your Scouting career.

What is a VOA? The Venturing Officers Association (VOA) is a team of Venturers that provide support to strengthen the Venturing program in the local Crews. We aim to do this through events and trainings to create fellowship, leadership, and unity.

What is a Forum? A forum is a time to discuss important topics future events with representatives from Orange County Council Venturing Crews. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Council Office at 7:00pm.
