2017 National Scout Jamboree Recap! The 2017 National Jamboree was full of exciting activities, shows, and scheduled events that tested the Summit Bechtel Reserve like never before. Here, Scouts and Venturers exemplified the theme, “Live Scouting’s Adventure” by using the High Adventure base’s range of world-class facilities to the fullest. In addition to the thrill that SBR is known for, participants were able to volunteer in a day of service and strengthen their faith during Sunday services and daily religious practices. To enhance the Jamboree, Scouts and Venturers were treated to performances from musical guests, which included X-Ambassadors and appearances from speakers such as President Trump. Those who experienced the adventure of Scouting during this Jamboree are sure to bring that energy back home in their daily life forever. _____________________________________________________________________________________
