Outdoor Learning As a school we believe that opportunities for outdoor learning exist within and across all curriculum areas. Outdoor Learning enables children to learn through what they do, what they encounter and what they discover. It helps to develop in the children the learning skills of enquiry, experiment and cooperative learning while also developing their reasoning, risk taking, resilience and perseverance.

Sport Nursery to Year 6 From Nursery through to Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to participate in a range of physical and sporting activities on site, either outside on one of the two large play areas both of which have all weather surfaces or in the school hall. Sport is developed further by the many extracurricular activities that take place during lunch breaks and after school.

From Year 3 Pupils in Year 3 to 6 are taken to Swansea University Sports Centre for their weekly games lessons where they have exclusive use of the indoor track and outdoor multipurpose pitches. They also have swimming lessons at the Wales National Pool where the pupils have access to the 25m and 50m pools. Team sports are represented at all levels. The pupils regularly travel to schools across South Wales for away matches and are fortunate to play their home fixtures on our astro turf pitch. ...best for your child...best from your child
