





Oak Farm Montessori School is a place for learning and exploration; both during the school year and all summer long. Our talented staff of teachers and professionals have created interactive and engaging programs that will keep your child active, outdoors and most importantly; screen free!
Camps will run June 10th - August 2nd, with no camps offered the week of July 1st. All camps are Monday through Friday on the Oak Farm school campus with drop off at 8:30am and pick up at 3:30pm. CAMPERS SHOULD REGISTER ACCORDING TO THE GRADE THEY WILL BE ENTERING FALL OF 2024. Children entering first grade can register for Primary camp, if needed.
Online camp registration will close one week before the camp start date. For example, the June 10th camp registrations will close on Monday, June 3rd . If you want to add your child less than a week prior to a camp starting, please contact the Summer Camp Director.
• All camps are subject to cancellation based on enrollment.
• All registrations are considered final and non-refundable as of May 20th, 2024. If there is a waitlist, a refund may be issued minus processing fees.
• Refunds will be given the week of May 20th for any camps cancelled due to low enrollment. Low enrollment minimums vary by camp level, see individual camp description in sign up.
• OFMS does not offer before/after care, bus service, scholarships or sibling discounts for summer camp.

Campers will enjoy a summer time version of their regular school day with work time, snack, community, lunch, nap, and lots of outdoor play. Children will go on walks in the woods, hikes to the gazebo and music garden, explore plants, dance to music, make crafts, and splash in the water. Snack will be provided. Welcome to Montessori Master Chef’s Camp! Throughout the week, students will learn to use kitchen utensils, read recipes, harvest vegetables in the garden, and discover the world of culinary arts. Let’s make music together! Campers will explore the beat, rhythm and art of music using their entire bodies, and craft their own instruments to explore song and dance. Literacy is very important, so let’s engage our campers in book activities all week long! Camper will have the opportunity to dress as their favorite book character, share their favorite book with their peers, and work to develop their own storybook with illustrations this week. Cost: $140
This half-day camp from 8:30 - 12:00pm is an introduction to the world of Montessori for your young child. Campers will spend the morning with an OFMS Montessori trained teacher in the prepared environment; learning practical life skills and navigating the world around them Cost: $75 (New enrolled students to OFMS Primary Fall of 2024 only)

Summer is meant to be spent outdoors playing games with friends, eating popsicles, and exploring the land around us! Join us for a week creating sensational summertime memories in a structured environment that will support your child’s needs and plane of development. Happily-ever-after gets turned on its head in this comedic retelling of Snow White’s classic princess fairy tale. When the seven forest dwellers (who can be tall or short, it doesn’t matter!) reminisce about their recent run-in with a royal runaway, they each have a different take on how the story unfolds and who the real hero is. After a 30 minute lunch break the afternoon will be filled with field events: shot put, discus, long jump, and high jump. Join coaches with over 100+ years of combined track & field experience for this intense summer workout. Athletes of all abilities are welcome. Beginners and advanced skaters this camp is calling you! Each morning we will travel to Skatin’ Station in Auburn for three hours. Skaters will learn basic skating skills, practice simple drills, play skate games, and advance to tricks while having fun being active! Afternoons will be spent back on campus having lunch, doing craft projects, and water play. On Friday, we will celebrate a week of hard work with a pizza party before leaving the roller rink! Skate rental is included in camp cost. We highly encourage sending your camper with protective gear i.e. wrist, elbow and knee pads especially for beginners. It’s going to be a rollin’ great time!!

Campers of all faiths are invited to explore the Bible; its stories and history. We will sing, discuss, and create to express their faith! This week will focus on virtues such as honesty, patience, hope, kindness, humility, etc. - what the Bible and other ancient texts teach about these and how we can live them now. In just one week, campers will travel around the world to learn about the cultures of many different countries and regions. Each day we will explore a different continent or region of the world. Camper will participate in crafts, music and dance, and games from different countries. Soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels will improve their fundamentals through fast footwork and speed agility drills, teamwork, and scrimmages. Have you ever wanted to learn to play the ukulele, but you weren’t sure where to start? Maybe you didn’t want to buy one without knowing how to play first. Maybe you are just waiting for the right inspiration. Now is your chance! Ukulele is a great instrument for almost all ages. It is easier to learn than guitar, works well even for musicians with smaller hands and fingers, and is wonderfully versatile. For those interested in learning to play the guitar, ukulele can be a great springboard instrument to help develop the basic skills in a more simple and accessible way. Join us for a week of jamming as we develop beginning ukulele skills. In addition to playing the ukulele, we will engage in singing, rhythm and beat games, and “science of sound” activities to help build all of the skills that will go along with playing the ukulele. No experience necessary. Ukuleles provided for camp use only.

Campers will conduct handson experiments and activities to explore states of matter and gain a deeper understanding of concepts such as velocity, magnetism, and density. If you enjoy outdoor work, you’ll love this camp. Travel across campus performing service learning activities across all the habitats at OFMS. Outdoor work activities will include, but are not limited to, weeding, harvesting, and general maintenance of our community gardens, a fun project for the forest, and prairie seed collection. Be prepared for any kind of outdoor work to help beautify our campus.

You will learn how to research your family through time. Take a trip to the 2nd largest Genealogical library in the country and chart your findings to share with your family.

Have the opportunity to dig deeper in week two or start tracing your families history. Campers can join this week without attending Genealogy Part 1, previous attendees will have the opportunity for a second trip to the Allen County Public Library and more work time with specialists in the field. We will explore a different baking technique every day and learn the chemical reactions that drive the results of baked goods.
