Of Special Note

The Bay - Omaru Bay literally translates to sheltered Bay, mooring is secure and travel by private boat directly to Omaru Bay is approx. 30 minutes from Auckland ( rate of knotts dependent)

For large scale entertaining the ability for some guests to stay onboard their own vessels significantly extends the accommodation which is already generous. Previous largescale celebrations have showcased the property’s ability to handle a sizable gatherings with ease.

The best of Waiheke’s fishing spots are within just a few minutes and the filleting station on the jetty is testament to many a fresh catch.

Formally a Lodge – Prior to the Sumich Chaplin complete renovation and rebuild the property had commercial status as a lodge. Although in private ownership for the two owners since that time there is opportunity to explore commercial use again at this Lodge sized residence.

Groundskeeper – the current groundskeeper/ property manager has been with both these owners and the previous. His passion and knowledge of the property is highly valuable and he is willing to meet with perspective purchasers.

The Can Ams – while the property is highly walkable, the Can Ams have made the property comfortably accessible to all ages and fitness levels with total ease.
