For the first time ever, Aged Advisor New Zealand has created a userfriendly, printed directory based on 6000+ reviews, and ratings containing over 700 villages and care facilities throughout NZ. This is just one of a range of tools that you can use to filter villages and care homes as part of your decisionmaking process. To conserve space, we’ve limited this list to only those with reviews, or new facilities that are on a paid plan with AgedAdvisor. If a facility has been operating for over 24 months and has no reviews, then you will find them online at agedadvisor.nz, and we would suggest you check for any updates. If you still find no reviews, then feel free to contact the facility directly and ask why they have no reviews. Each year we contact providers and facilities in New Zealand to encourage them to make review forms available for their residents. We provide these free of charge and there is no cost to the facility to send in reviews. Many residents and facilities do send them in. However, some facilities do not, either because they do not see the benefit of resident testimonials or they do not want, or believe that residents should voice their thoughts or experience publicly. We’ll let you be the judge of that.

You will notice some facilities have their past awards listed. Only those facilities on an upgraded plan have past year awards displayed. Again, you can see a full list of current and past award winners online at www.agedadvisor.nz/awards.
