Concord House Rest Home is honoured to be Aged Advisor’s finalist for Best Aged Care up to 40 beds. As a small home in Auckland with only 15 beds, they aim to provide a meaningful experience for each resident.
With a beautiful garden setting, Peacehaven has provided a restful sense of home for residents for many years in a quiet neighbourhood of Blockhouse Bay.

With 45 beds, Lesley, a family member says “Staff care for residents with dignity. Social needs and welfare are prioritised.”

To cater for a broad range of residents, their staff speak a variety of languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Samoan, Tongan and English. These languages are accompanied by an inclusive program that helps to integrate all cultural backgrounds.

Greenvalley Resthome is an over 40 bed facility offering rest home and dementia level care in Auckland and is also a 2020 finalist for Best Aged Care over 40 beds facility. Located in Glenfield, the home is close to a number of parks and reserves, and the Glenfield Mall is just a short drive away.

Situated in the heart of vibrant Mangere, CHT Hillcrest is handy to shops, parks, a library and banks.


One resident recounts how a team member brings flowers to help brighten her day. She says, “staff do everything they possibly can, they are always helpful.” Other comments include “beautiful care and excellent support from Hillcrest” and “All positives feedback from me and my dad.”

Facility manager Amrinder Sodhi says staff are the key to their success. By giving over 100%, it reassures families their loved ones are cared for.
