Our sixth issue of Esferas marks its fourth year of publication, meaning that this is the first graduating class that had the journal as part of its academic experience within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese since its freshman year. We find this to be a monumental achievement: we can now proudly say that Esferas is a staple within the department as a publication outlet for undergraduate creative and investigative work, in addition to scholars, thinkers, writers, and artists from our field. We hope with the realization of each new issue to continue to expand our involvement in undergraduate life as well as our reach, connecting with other undergraduate Spanish and Portuguese programs elsewhere.
