* Dal Segno, pronounced “dahl SAYN-yo” is an Italian musical term. Literally translated as “the sign,” it indicates a return to a place earlier in the music; it is often abbreviated as “D.S.”
Dal Segno is a program of the Northern Valley Youth Orchestras, a non-profit 501c3 youth music organization based in Grand Forks. We hope many of this year’s students will return in a few weeks for the 12th season of NVYO. information about audition times and additional programs is available on our website, nvyo.org We hope all these students find opportunities to play orchestral and chamber music throughout the school year and return next summer! We had a great week and will share some of this music Saturday at the Town Square Farmer’s Market, too. Thank you for your support!
