Another approach that was taken was drawing inspiration from the textures, patterns and design of a Bishops Mitre. The patterns are still quite minimalistic and are a subtle inclusion that adds to the tradition and Heritage of the school.
These patterns also have a connection to your schools crest through the use of diamond shapes which is illustrated on the Bishop’s Mitre at the top of the crest.
All patterns throughout the 3 concepts can be substituted with any of the patterns you see and can be applied to any brand colour as shown on page 14.

If your school would like to incorporate Indigenous Designs to your sportswear, Midford is happy to collaborate with either an Indigenous Student selected by the school or a member or commissioned artist of the First Nations Community to ensure all traditions are honoured and respected when creating specific Indigenous art that is customised for your school.
Incoroporating Indigenous Design is a symbol of respect and reconciliation and can also be a powerful visual di erentation that can add depth and authenticity to your sportswear.
It is important that either a selected student or a member of the community create artwork that relates directly to your community and location.
When creating your own indigenous inspired designs, the possibilities and colour combinations to choose from are endless. However, we recommend sticking to your brands colours and customising the artwork to suit your needs.
