Farming’s home-from-home in the heart of London is a haven for all involved in the industry. Number 3, Whitehall Court, the heart of the Club, offers a ‘home-from-home’ environment, competitive accommodation, an excellent restaurant serving the best of British produce, a magnificent terrace looking across the River Thames, and the Club bar – witness to keen farming debate for decades. A range of function rooms cater for meetings and private parties, while the Shaw Room and computer suite serve modern business needs. Members are all involved in farming, either directly or indirectly, creating a unique atmosphere in which trust and friendship, and the culture and ethos of the countryside, are the hallmarks. The busy events programme includes farm visits, debates and a range of social functions. The Under 30s section caters for the next generation, while the Club itself is overseen by a committee of members drawn from all parts of the industry. A goal of the Club is to champion all that is good about farming, reaching out to members across the UK and further afield through seminars, study tours, the bi-monthly Farmers Club Journal, receptions at key agricultural shows, regional events, social media and an e-newsletter. The Farmers Club is renowned for its staff, whose friendliness and efficiency ensure you truly feel at home in the heart of London.
