WHAT ARE THE PLASTIC FINISH TYPES?

Builders employ plastic finishes to give their products a final look and cover up any molded lines and flaws. The finishes are split into SPI classes by the society of manufacturing. Plastic coatings come in 12 distinct grades, ranging from mirror sheen to drab matte.

SHINY PLASTIC FINISHES

A-1, A-2, & A-3 are among the groups of shiny plastic finishes. All finishes are bright & slick, but the A-1 featured a special glossy look. All finishes are obtained from an oil-dilute solution spread by diamond particles. It is utilized to create plastic mirrors and other optical components thanks to these reflecting surfaces.

SEMI-GLOSS PLASTIC FINISHES

good's smooth semi-gloss finishes are produced using a variety of grit papers. It is soft, without a doubt, but the shine isn't too intense. B-1, B-2, and B-3 grades fall into the medium- to the medium-low polish range.

MATTE PLASTIC FINISHES

DULL PLASTIC FINISHES

Sandblasting is used to create dull plastic surfaces, which provide finishes ranging from smooth to dull. The least finished & rough grade of plastic is used for interior parts or items that require this kind of finishing.
