We award prizes for each subject group at the Business School, which means you can sponsor an appropriate award for your business – we also have a small number of awards that relate to our Business School priorities: The Future of Work and Leading on Leadership.

Prizes are £500. We ask our sponsors to commit to a minimum of three years’ sponsorship.

These prizes are promoted through the Business School website and our social media channels and are awarded to our best students.

Supporting students through scholarships is a great way to raise the visibility of your organisation. It can also enable you to support the community and the development of future talent. Donors will also be given the option to name a scholarship, e.g. ‘The Smith Family Scholarship’.

We will work with you to establish a scholarship that reflects your values. We can tailor the award to suit your needs and we accept full or partial contributions. For a partial scholarship, we accept anything from £5,000 towards a student’s degree fees. For a full scholarship, fees are:

OFFER A PLACEMENT Our talent pool of students are emerging business leaders. Employers often use placement years as a way to recruit for permanent posts, having early access to the graduate market, without having to commit to hiring for a full-time position.

Our undergraduate students are given the option to undertake a paid business placement between their second and final year of study. This opportunity can be highly beneficial to both our students and your organisation. Several of our former students have helped companies to develop new innovations that have resulted in an increase in revenue, a significant cost saving or increased efficiencies within the business.

Newcastle University Business School students are eager to learn, enthusiastic and capable of handling increased responsibility.

Got a good story to tell? There is nothing more inspirational for a student to see someone who was once where they were, succeeding in something they want to do. Case studies will often be used in our marketing materials that get sent out to students.

Has your business had a great success or an unfortunate failure?

Our students can learn so much from your experiences.

Great business stories happen throughout the year and your story can provide useful learning material for our students. These case studies tend to give an overview of the business, outline the business issue/goal, share what actions were taken to overcome the problem/achieve goal and then share what the outcome was.
