A Message from the OC Nowadays, students seem to be facing a tougher, unforgiving, and an ever-changing world. Consequently, they need to be equipped with more than just a voice to speak out and stand up.

They need means to help them face the hurdles of the long path of medicine. Students get frustrated, tired, depressed from all the unrealistic expectations and duties thrown at them. All that labour, in hopes of a future that we foresee; one which we strive to reach.

To ensure we achieve our goal, this Camp has taken the step of engaging students in a meaningful productive way; by allowing them to choose the theme, topics, and issues they feel most worth talking about so that participants feel that the experience is designed for them. We also had the students communicate with other stakeholders, organizations that share our goals, such as medical schools, the ministry of health, and other higher education representatives so that we can form a realistic approach to translating our common goals into the real world.

Our Main Goal is: Addressing medical education issues, as seen by medical students, and formulate actions toward solving them.

we will hold the camp in Jordan King Hussein Talal convention centre – Dead sea from the 4th -7th of July 2018. There we will build skills and knowledge through training workshops, speaker panels, and discussion sessions. All to craft a common approach so we work together for the betterment of our education and the health of the world.

The Camp will be split up to the following 4 categories over 4 days 1.

Camp Theme After noticing the huge gap when it comes to students knowing their medical education, policies related to it and what their role is to change it, we have chosen the theme: ďżź The topics has been set based on the initial survey conducted online.

When The camp will be held from the 4th –7th of July 2018 starting from 8 am until 6 PM for the wonderful 4 days .

Where The camp will be held in the beautiful Jordan— dead sea at the king Hussein bin Talal convention center managed by Hilton. The venue can host up to 4000 people with full equipped halls and great scenes over the sea .

Accommodation and Transportation

Accommodation will be provided only upon request either at the Hilton Hotel resort and spa near the venue , or at any other place preferred by the participant. We will also provide transportation for everyone from 3 major cities and from airport as well.
