Get out and explore… Welcome to another edition of Explore the Shore… one of my favourite features that I have the pleasure of coordinating. Why is it a favourite, you might wonder? I love it because it shines a light on all the things that make the North Shore a wonderful place to live, and I can’t help but pause and feel grateful that I get to call it home. This feature gives you an overview of life on the North Shore – living, working, playing, eating and shopping. Maria Spitale-Leisk will take you on a quick tour of some of the different neighbourhoods that make up the Shore, and reasons why both residents and business owners love being there. Justin Beddall digs a little deeper into the local economy and will introduce us to some very unique tech businesses that perhaps you never
knew existed here on the shore. Justin will also give you a thorough overview of why the North Shore is the perfect mecca for all sorts of fun and recreational activities for all ages, skill levels and interests. Local food blogger Chris Dagenais takes us on a culinary tour across the Shore highlighting some fantastic patios for outdoor sustenance and libation. And when you’re all fueled up, Amanda Stutt will showcase a handful of local shops that not only offer unique and must-have items, but more importantly, contribute to a vibrant local economy.
