Business partners Amber Cordero and Jacqueline Taylor created The New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co out of a desire to give pets a complete healthy raw diet.
“W
e started researching and developing our pet food idea in 2016 and launched the company in 2017. We knew what was missing in pet food and wanted to provide animals with good wholesome nutrition. We produced ‘WOOF’ for dogs and ‘MEOW’ for cats,” says Jacqueline. “As pet parents, we saw that the ingredients in most pet food included flavourings, colourings, additives and
numbers on the packaging that we didn’t understand. We wanted to be able to read the label and know the food is nutritious.” The ladies set out to create a healthy range and be 100 per cent transparent ensuring the food they provide had easily readable packaging. “I have my adopted poodle Niuniu, and Amber has two cats. We want them to have the best nutrition possible
