But that also means one of the biggest events of the year is there again: “New Year’s Eve” or should I say “Noxx Year’s Eve”, because it has become quite clear that New Year’s Eve at Noxx has been one of the biggest and hottest NYE events in Belgium, maybe even Europe. With stunning visuals and crazy themes Noxx tries to serve its visitors a finger licking yearend. This year we have chosen for a theme which has already been used several times in the Noxx tradition: The Black Revolution. Due to its sexiness but still classy character, The Black Revolution is the perfect atmosphere to host a NYE party. So dress up and join us to end and to start the year in style. So prepare for Saturday December 1st, because this is gonna be massive! Only 1 day earlier by the way Noxx welcomes Ciara. It’s been quite some time now we have been trying to have her and finally we did it. On Friday Nov. 30th you can witness an exclusive Ciara showcase at Noxx. If you love RnB, you cannot miss this one!! Besides superstars we of course also have some great party concepts coming up: 6 years Asia Events: this is gonna be huge, no need to tell u more... This is Ibiza: Spain’s N°1 DJ Juanjo Martin & Pacha Ibiza resident JP Candela invite you to the white island with this magical night out on Sat. December 15th. One month later, on Jan 19th Noxx invites latin superstar deejay/producer Gregor Salto. And last but not least I’d like to point out that the first edition of “The Sound Of Amsterdam” was a huge succes. HEllO lIl’ MISS SUNSHINE, PlEASE FIRST INTRODUCE YOURSElF TO OUR READERS. My name is Jill Wouters, I am 24 years old and I live in Berchem, Antwerp. What more do you need to know? THAT WIll DO :-) HOW DID YOU END UP AT NOXX? I ended up at Noxx partying like a rock star, seen as I was practically living there I ended up working at Glamrush on Friday. Now I work downstairs at the VIP entrance. It all went quite fast... Even now, the days I’m not working you can still find me at Noxx. Is this normal? WHAT DO YOU lIKE MOST ABOUT NOXX? What I like most about Noxx is the atmosphere. Working at Noxx gives me the feeling being part of something special. The people working there ain’t just there to earn money but to bring Noxx to life and make sure everybody partying there has the most amazing time. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NOXX EVENT? My favorite party or Noxx event was the 5 year anniversary of Noxx, I loved the Roman theme. Oh and also the re-launch of Issues, a party which is finally back, is something I have been waiting for since ages. It’s eclectic music is right up my street.
WHAT WAS YOUR BEST NIGHT EVER AT NOXX? The best night ever has to be the 4 year anniversary of Noxx. That night just blew my mind, ever since I’m in love... WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DJ? My favorite dj national has got to be Amro (Issues group) and international swedish houde mafia. WHO IS THE ONE SUPERSTAR YOU’D lOVE TO SEE PERFORM AT NOXX? The superstar i would love to see perform at NOXX would be Rudimental, i just love his music! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DRINK? My favorite drink has got to be, hands down, Vodka Perier with Pulco. Sooo refreshing... TEll US YOUR MOST REMARKABlE STORY, WHICH HAPPENED AT NOXX? PlEASE INTRODUCE YOURSElF... I’m Goran Depikolozvane and since the re-opening of Noxx I work as a bartender. I’m 22 years old and I study chemistry at KdG. In the past I’ve visited Noxx a lot and I have made so much crazy memories, crazy... HOW DID YOU END UP AT NOXX? My summer 2012 was unforgettable and I met a lot of people. So I brought my idea to life: one night I asked a friend of mine if I could work at Noxx? And this is when my Noxx-adventure actually began. Ever since my nightlife went to a whole new level. WHAT DO YOU lIKE MOST ABOUT NOXX? I think what I like most about Noxx is the crew, like they would say in Belgium ‘daar is nen hoek af!’ :-) The people that work at Noxx will agree with me...
the people we won’t forget!’ WHO IS THE ONE SUPERSTAR YOU’D lOVE TO SEE AT NOXX? That would be Drake or Chris Brown because I like their music and they both had a really good year full of great hits! WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DJ, BOTH NATIONAl AS INTERNATIONAl? I don’t really have a favorite DJ because I like all kinds of music. But lately my love for house music is increasing: Disco Dasco, Cafeina, Franky Rizardo, etc. They were all great nights at Noxx! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DRINK? I like all kinds of liquor but vodka is still my favorite. Grey goose, Belvedere, Ciroc,... etc. they bring out the best in me! Ha-ha.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NOXX EVENT? My favorite Noxx event is definitely every Saturday, week after week. They succeed in surprising the audience every time so the crowd goes home with a big smile on their faces. The next day you probably have a big hangover but that doesn’t stop you from coming back. Take it from me: Noxx is addictive!

I guess all of you who are a lil’ into urban music know this notorious female singer. In the States she’s been a role model for girls since 10 years. Let’s get a closer look to who this lady is, who will visit Noxx on Friday Nov. 30th.
Ciara Princess Harris, known mononymously as Ciara is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and fashion model. Born in Austin, Texas, she traveled around the world during her childhood, only to land in Atlanta, Georgia where she met music producer Jazze Pha. With his help, she signed a record deal with LaFace Records. In 2004, Ciara released her debut studio album Goodies, which spawned three hit singles: “Goodies,” “1, 2 Step,” and “Oh.” The album was certified triple platinum and earned her four nominations at the 48th Grammy Awards. She released her second studio album,Ciara: The Evolution, in 2006 which spawned the hit singles “Get Up,” “Promise,” and “Like a Boy.” The album reached number one in the US and was certified platinum. Her third studio album Fantasy Ride, released in 2009, was considerably less successful than Ciara’s first two albums. However, it produced the worldwide top-ten hit “Love Sex Magic” featuring Justin Timberlake, which earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Ciara started working with the biggest names in the scene. In 2009, Ciara headlined the Jay-Z & Ciara Live tour with Jay-Z. She was also the support act for Britney Spears’s Circus tour. Her performance received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, who noted her dancing skills as being spectacular and arguably better than Britney Spears’. Ciara made a guest appearance on Nelly’s single “Stepped On My J’z” and was also featured on Enrique Iglesias’ single, “Takin’ Back My Love”, from his Greatest Hitsalbum.
During an interview in February 2012, Ciara revealed that she will be taking her time recording her fifth studio album, stating: “It’s just really about the vibe, and I’ll just tell you that it’s a good vibe going. It’s really important for me to take my time with this record and it’s important for the whole team. It’s really, really good energy.” This album names “One woman army” would contain hit singles like “Sorry”, “Got me good” and of course “Sweat. Aside from music, Ciara also starred in two movies during this time. She starred in “Mama, I Want to Sing!” and also appeared as Brie in the summer 2012 comedy film, That’s My Boy. As the winter is knocking at our door, it’s about time to remember how good the Summers. And what else is more appropriate than a Ibiza Reunion to get some Summer Vibes. That’s why we invited some of Ibiza’s most legendary resident deejays: Juanjo Martin & JP Candela for the first edition of “This is Ibiza” at Noxx Antwerp. JP Candela JP Candela, the fresh prince of Pacha Ibiza, is an icon of the Spanish house music scene and one of the most outstanding new age djs /producers worldwide. After two years playing at David Guetta ́s F*** Me I ́m Famous parties (Ibiza), in 2011 he becomes one of the exclusive djs In FMIF World Tour, along with Nervo, Arno Cost or Norman Doray. JP has been chosen by big brands as dj for wordly product premieres such as 10th Anniversary One (Calvin Klein). Mexican beer brand Corona elected him as Judge and Main Artist for Movida Corona & MTV, a dj contest that visited cities all around the planet looking for the best amateur dj in the world.
Juanjo Martin Charismatic and energetic, Juanjo Martin is currently one of the best international EDM DJs and producers. He has recently been awarded as the Best Spanish DJ at Deejaymag Awards. He is also ranked as the only Spanish DJ in the Top 100 DJs poll, the worldwide reference list published by the British magazine DJ Mag yearly. During his professional career, Juanjo Martin has performed in clubs throughout every continent, Ibiza being his most important place of performance during the summer season: Ushuaïa, SupermartXé, This is Ibiza... Since 2003 he has been playing at the most important clubs in the ‘White Island’, such as Space, Privilege, Pacha and Ushuaïa Beach Hotel. Juanjo Martin is currently putting all of his effort into his new show;
‘This Is Ibiza’ only 6 months after starting this project it has been taken to cities as important as Miami, Buenos Aires, London, Ibiza, Madrid, Seville… Juanjo’s project is to reach a mass audience alongside with different style artists because, as he says; “musical tolerance, isn’t abundant, and it comes from good taste”. This time they’re stopping in Antwerp and where else to take this event but Noxx...
