When writing this we are at the end of June, though when you look outside, you’d think we are October. The weather so far this Summer is kinda f*cked up. That’s why we created: Noxx Summer Fest, the biggest indoor dance festival. The hottest national and international deejays, 5 different areas, incredible live acts and always the hottest atmosphere with a fresh Summer breeze. We have some international guests coming over this Summer. Only a few days ago we had John Dahlback putting the roof on fire. Damn, that Swedish House DJ/producer sure knows how to throw a party. First up this Summer is R3HAB, one of Holland’s brightest new stars. He’ll make you move with a crazy dirty house set. Only a few weeks later we have Sandro Silva, another great talent, who also comes from Holland. He was the one creating the already legendary “Epic” together with Quintino. And normally at the end of this Sumer there will be another huge name to announce, but we’ll let you know in time. So I guess: Summer Madness it will be... Then there is also iStar, our brand new Friday night concept every last Friday of the month bringing you the hottest urban artists. All names will soon be announced. Of course we will have our regular program too this Summer featuring new editions of Extravaganza, Famouz, Feathers, Glamrush and many many others... Yes there is, and actually it’s kinda big news, because Noxx is about to close its doors. No not for good, but for a few weeks. Every brand should every once and a while evaluate and over-think itself. After 5 years that day has come for Noxx. Our visitors deserve the best, so that’s why we decided to close our doors. We will be updating the club as well as our entire concept. Don’t doubt the fact that we’ll turn the belgian nightlife upside down once again... Noxx 2.0: Watch Out!! This stunning beauty with Russian roots has been part of our team for many years now. They often say that a performer should have all kind of different looks or faces, but this girl has like hundreds. With her ever changing looks she is like a fresh wind everytime Lily appears on stage. Time to have a chat. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE FOR NOXX? When Noxx just opened I was dreaming of dancing there and when they invited me for an audition 3 years ago I was very nervous but so happy to finally get a chance to dance in one of the biggest clubs in Belgium! And it’s been like a crazy adventure ever since. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT NOXX? I like the fact that we have a lot of space to party, beautiful design, different music for every style, great party concepts and especially our crazy big team. We work and party together and some of them became like a family to me and it’s awesome! WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NOXX EVENT? Noxxaturdays in general but especially Noxx NY Eve’s night. This year the campagne, the party itself and concept of Noxx turning people into beasts(partyanimals ;)) were just amazing! And the atmosphere on events like this is always kind of magical, it gives me even more inspiration and energy to try to put on a crazy show time after time.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE NOXX DJ? Definetely Dominico, his sets are reachable for all kinds of audience and give a light happy party feeling. WHO IS THE ONE SUPERSTAR YOU’D LOVE TO SEE AT NOXX? After all the superstars who have performed in Noxx, we only can reach for the stars like Madonna - haha - that would be beyond words. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME? There are so many but if I have to choose one, I’d go for ‘Sky and Sand’ by Paul Kalkbrenner TELL US YOUR MOST REMARKABLE STORY WHICH HAPPENED AT NOXX? Well the most of them are too shocking to tell... One of the craziest ones was when LMFAO came to Noxx: the party was the craziest I’ve ever been too, we were having so much fun while watching the show but at some point we were so drunk and one of the dancers got a brilliant idea to crash the stage, but the guys from LMFAO were so cool that we were all just shuffling, having fun and drinking shots together with Redfoo and the others. I’ll never forget that night.

R3hab producing skills and love for electronic music have made him one of the highest requested remixers in the dance scene right now, remixing for artists like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Calvin Harris, Lil’ Wayne, Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Sean Paul, Dada Life, Snoop Dogg, LMFAO and Bob Sinclar to name a few. Then there are also R3hab’s original productions that have moved dance floors around the world and more than frequently get listed in Beatport’s charts. His most notable releases to date are ‘Pump The Party’ produced together with Ferruccio Salvo, ‘The Bottle Song’, released on Wall Recordings and the much-anticipated ‘Prutataaa’, which is R3hab’s first collaboration with Afrojack. It might therefore not surprise people that the multi-talented and much- promising R3hab quickly got signed by Afrojack to his Wall Recordings imprint and is quoted as being “one of its biggest talents”. When it comes to DJ’ing R3hab really knows his business, bringing all the right music to the dance floor at all the right times. Whether you are enjoying his sets on the radio or at the club it is clear that when R3hab is behind the decks people get uplifted and want to dance. There is no getting around the energy that he brings to his craft and this experience is something you really should not miss. So far R3hab has played at the most famous clubs around the world, in countries like the USA, Spain, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Morocco, France, Australia, England and the Caribbean. This year R3hab is starting his already infamous #INEEDR3HAB tour, with a first stop at Belgium’s finest: Noxx Antwerp. So of course we are proud to announce this Dutch superstar Deejay. Be sure to keep following this young Dutch multi- talent, the best has yet to come!

SANDRO SILVA
Sandro Silva is one of Holland’s most promising new talents. He is known for his broad, energetic sound that is so perfectly combined with a musical depth acquired by his years of piano study.
Starting his career in dance in 2006 at the age of 15, Sandro has managed to establish himself as a solid name in the EDM world. He has released his own tracks on (Steve Aoki’s) Dimmak Records, (Laidback Luke’s) Mixmash Records, (Tiesto’s) Musical Freedom, Newstate Records and his latest smash feat vocal sensation Bizzey, “Get Lower” is slated for a priority release on Atlantic Records.
But probably the biggest breakthrough came when he launched “Epic” together with that other Dutch rising star: Quintino. This sick tune has taken over the world in no time. Hold your breath for more and join us at Noxx Antwerp for a smashing set by Sandro Silva A new Dutch star is born!
It is through Laidback Luke’s coaching and support, that Sandro was able to develop his DJ and producing skills at such a rapid pace. His talent has certainly not gone unnoticed by some of the biggest, most accomplished artists in the scene: His release, ‘Prom Night’ was featured as an Essential Choice on Pete Tong’s BBC radio show and receives across the board support for his music from his musical compatriots. David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, Eric Prydz, Tiesto, Laidback Luke and Steve Aoki all love playing his records. Delivering highlight remixes for the likes of Pitbull, Ricky Blaze, Laidback Luke and Calvin Harris. On the back of his releases, he has played the crème de la crème of clubs and festivals including EDC Las Vegas, LIV Miami, Creamfields Liverpool, Ministry of Sound London, Privilege and Ushuaia Ibiza. Sandro continues to experiment with new sounds and genres - keeping his sound fresh and innovative. He is in the producing flow. Locking himself away daily in the studio has resulted in a number of exciting tracks ready for release in 2011.
