SUNDAY 26.02.2012, LMFAO official After Party Since last year, the entire world is shuffling to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem.” So far, the unstoppable track from the Los Angeles-based duo has topped iTunes charts all over the world. The duo kept artists such as Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez from reaching the number one slot. As further testament to the global love for the song, the vibrant music video passed twenty million views on Vevo in under two months. And LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” is just the opening round of Redfoo and Sky Blu’s forthcoming fulllength album, Sorry For Party Rocking. “Sorry for party rocking is a party person’s excuse for having fun,” explains Redfoo, LMFAO’s member known for his gravity-defying afro. “It’s the excuse you give when someone complains,” he continues. “Let’s say your parents say ‘stop shuffling upstairs you’re waking me up!’ You can now just say ‘Sorry for party rocking, Mom…sorry for having fun.’” Redfoo’s nephew, Sky Blu, echoes the sentiment, minus the apology. “We rock the party and lead by example,” says LMFAO’s lyrical wordsmith. According to Redfoo, the duo are more than dance/pop music creators….they are scientific spinsters of a carefully crafted soundtrack for a new generation of global party people. But no one can say LMFAO’s success was accidental…both men have been driven for years, and passionate about music since their early teens. LMFAO were a featured storyline on MTV’s The Real World: Cancun in 2009, which covered the group’s appearance in Cancun during 2009 Spring break. Those unable to catch LMFAO on tour are at home hitting the replay button on their computers, watching one of the most buzzed about videos for dance and music fans in early 2011, “Party Rock Anthem.” “That was one of the sickest videos ever,” says Sky. “We were very inspired by ‘Thriller,’ and to have an opportunity to do something like that is amazing,” the rapper said. MTV PRESENTS: A NEW CLUB CONCEPT BRINGING THE MTV LEGACY TO THE DANCEFLOOR

HARDWELL This talented genius, better known as Robbert van de Corput started his DJ career at the age of 13. After this blow-out Hardwell’s talent was picked up by a Dutch label and they signed him when he was only 14 years old. Shortly after his label signing he started to play at all mayor clubs in the Netherlands. His growing reputation and success was picked up by party-minded people, they voted for him for the DJMAG Top 100 this year and he got a well deserved #24 spot in the Top 100 list, his first entry into their charts. They pinpointed him as one of the leaders of a new generation of DJs and unequivocally one to watch in the future. The growing momentum of his ‘fresh and open-minded’ label, Revealed Recordings, certainly proves their point, and fans can expect loads of exciting new releases very soon. Hardwell’s international breakthrough came with his Show Me Love vs. Be bootleg of Steve Angello and Laidback Luke’s track and Robin S’ classic. That bootleg became one of the biggest and most played dance hits of 2009. Last year Hardwell continued to produce top records such as Encoded, a track with a teaser that was viewed over 700.000 times on YouTube, reached the Beatport Top 10 and gained major support from the biggest DJs worldwide. And did we mention his collaboration with Tiësto on hit record Zero 76 in February 2011? This banger went to #1 on Beatport and received a huge amount of airplay worldwide. That success was compounded by the release of his track Cobra. This tune went to #1 in the dance charts in Holland and stayed for a month and a half in the Beatport Progressive House Top 10 after being released in over 20 countries worldwide. The teaser of this track had 100.000 views on YouTube in one week. He also collaborated with Nicky Romero on a tune called Beta, another huge hit that
achieved international success. Watch out for new track Spaceman landing soon, as it’s bound to make you pay attention! In March 2011 Hardwell launched his very own radio show, Hardwell On Air, giving everyone who hears it an extra boost for the weekend. The show is broadcasted on Holland’s top dance station, SLAM!FM, on Sirius XM in the US and on Radio FG France and Belgium with more stations to be announced soon. Next to Hardwell’s latest floorfillers, the show also provides a platform for new DJ talent and shows Hardwell’s status as a true tastemaker in the music industry. Behind the decks Hardwell never fails to deliver. His exceptional technical skills, variety of music, distinguished looks and that added personal touch make him stand out. These days he’s bringing it to the masses, with performances all over the world from Sydney to Miami and Ibiza to London. Hardwell recently toured with Tiësto through North America and made his debut at one of the worlds biggest dance events, ‘Sensation’ in Prague, Czech and Denmark and he did a full tour in the USA and played at EDC/Electric Zoo. His own event, ‘Hardwell Presents Revealed’ is well on its way to setting clubs worldwide on fire and upcoming gigs include an Extended USA Tour and headlining Energy 2012 “The Network”, one of the biggest indoor events in Europe and of course Revealed night at Set Miami Do we need to continue? TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF... WHAT SHOUD WE KNOW ABOUT YOU? I’m a hardworking girl because I like to enjoy life... You only have one. I like to travel as much as possible, having good times, do fun things and be myself at all times! I’ve allready spent 4 fun years at Noxx and besides that and a lot of other jobs, I’m trying to find my way as a make-up artist at the moment... WHY DID YOU CHOOSE FOR NOXX? I’ve always been more like a “club girl” than a “pub girl”... When I heard the rumours about a new club comming to town, something never seen before, I thought: “That is where I want to be part off!”. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT NOXX? I like the diversity in Noxx, there’s something for everybody. Different rooms and styles of music, it’s unique in Antwerp. Whatever you pick, there’s always a great atmosphere!!! The most impressing thing for me is how many great superstars allready have visited noxx and have you seen the line up they have planned!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NOXX EVENT? The events at Skyclub offcourse... We just had a new event called ‘Lovestoned’ last week and that was really off the hook!!! WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE NOXX DJ? Dj Lexis, his style is harder than the other Dj’s which play at Skyclub and I like it more that way. WHO IS THE ONE SUPERSTAR YOU’D LOVE TO SEE AT NOXX? He’s maybe not a great superstar but he’ll sure break the house down... Steve Angello! Why is it by the way that he is the only SHM member which has not been to Noxx yet. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BEST NIGHT EVER AT NOXX? I don’t have one best night actually, I had several. The Skyclub crew allways have fun :-) TELL US YOUR MOST REMARKABLE STORY WHICH HAPPENED AT NOXX? It’s not that remarkable but I sure will always remember it... This one time I got pushed by someone and dropped a botlle with fireworks to the floor. Everybody jumped away because apparently I’ve started a fire. Or maybe that’s not a good story for me to tell? Haha...

Moraad El Kasmi, or Pieter Jan Peeters as he likes to call himself is by far the most prominent member of our staff. If this guy’s in the room, you can bet on it he’ll try to steal your thunder. Let’s meet this lady killer and see what he has to say... TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF... WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT YOU? Hi I’m Moraad 22 years old. I’m an actor and I work at noxx and having the time of my life WHY DID YOU CHOOSE FOR NOXX? I just think Noxx is an amazing club with loads of pretty people and such an epic athmosphere even though you would be there every saturday you wouldn’t be able to compare any saturday to another. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT NOXX? The diversity in different styles. People can choose at Noxx because it has 4 different rooms, so it has a big crowd and everybody can have an amazing night. Next to that you don’t even have to make a date with your friends about where you wanna go party, it’s like an automatism especially on a Saturday. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE NOXX EVENT? I definitely LOVE Noxxaturdays but especially the Noxx anniversaries are amazing parties year after year. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE NOXX DJ? I really like Guy’do and Amro. They always seem to find their way in mixes to get the people going. You just can’t stay still when they are playing.
WHO IS THE ONE SUPERSTAR YOU’D LOVE TO SEE AT NOXX? First of all I’m thrilled to see Redfoo from Lmfao but who I’d really wanna see of the artists perform @ NOXX is definitely Kanye west and from the DJ’s I would love to see Axwell or the whole Swedish house mafia crew that would be epic! And guess what, Axwell just got confirmed. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BEST NIGHT EVER AT NOXX? First of all, the best nights are always hard to remember and trust me, if you would work at Noxx for 2years, you wouldn’t be able to recall one “best” night because we just had so many with such a great team of employees as well as clientele. They have become real friends, some even family, so much fun. TELL US YOUR MOST REMARKABLE STORY WHICH HAPPENED AT NOXX? Well, I remember this one night when I just was a rookie and I trew a cleaning product over my boss. Hilarious, for me that was... So he told everybody they couldn’t go home before I’d been caught. Eventually we got home at 11 o ‘ clock in the morning after they caught me 500 meters away from Noxx. I was being chased by 20 people and been thrown in an old crappy white van. The pedestrians were thinking I was being kidnapped. Everyone was dying from laughing. Probably even the most remarkable night of my life. Hahaha...

He is part of a three person group dubbed The Swedish House Mafia along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello.newcomer and barely 23 years old… Let us present to you: Axwell!
CASE OF THE AX...
In 2004 Axwell released a global hit, “Feel the Vibe”, which was re-released under Ministry of Sound in 2005 with added vocals fromTara McDonald as “Feel the Vibe”. After loads of remixes for artists all over the globe, in the spring of 2006, Axwell first collaborated with Steve Angello, under the Supermode alias, producing “Tell Me Why”. Later, he teamed up with Eric Prydz and produced tracks under the alias Axer. One year after Axwell teamed up with performer Max’C to create the track “I Found U”, which was an instant worldwide hit. This would only be the first in line, many would follow: “Everytime we touch”, “What a wonderful world”, “Open your heart” ... In 2010 Axwell and Dirty South’s remix of the song “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap, even received a nomination for the 53rd Grammy Awards in the category for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.
SWEDISH HOUSE MAFFIA
Later that year, Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso played the Main Room at Cream Amnesia under the alias The Swedish House Mafia as part of Radio 1’s Essential Mix Ibiza. The live set received rave reviews. The immediate and huge succes was bound to come. There would soon be a first release from this already legendary threesome. “One”, which was the first official release under the name Swedish House Mafia achieved international success, while growing out to one of the biggest electronic tunes of the last decade. The next single, “Miami 2 Ibiza”,
featuring Tinie Tempah, was once again an instant hit, taking over charts all over the world. Both singles were taken from the “Until One” album; a collection of productions and remixes from both Swedish House Mafia and as the group as individuals. It has achieved a BPI Gold Sales award in the United Kingdom. Their newest collaboration “Antidote” is quite different from what they used to do, but nevertheless even with this one they gain international succes. The 80.000 tickets for their latest concert at Madison Square Garden (NY) last Christmas were sold out in less than 2 hours. World domination has begun... So after Sebastian Ingrosso declared to DJ Mag that he loved playing at Noxx, Axwell is thrilled to run Antwerp City on Saturday April 28th. Only at your favorite club.
