About Us Norwich Theatre Royal is one of the leading regional presenting theatres in England. As a 1300 seat theatre, based in the centre of the historic City of Norwich for over 250 years, we have established loyal audiences from across Norfolk, Suffolk and into Cambridgeshire.

As the regional venue of choice for medium to large scale national touring companies we deliver a wide range of drama, dance, musicals and opera – frequently presenting work direct from the West End. Annually we welcome audiences of around 400,000 people to over 420 performances.

As a registered charity, our reach extends beyond the stage, working with people with disabilities and the elderly to help prevent social exclusion and isolation. We also work with young people across the county, helping to develop confidence, creativity and making the arts more accessible to those in remote locations.
