Public Facilities District 2013
The Asotin County Public Facilities District was formed on July 15th, 2013 for the purpose of asking the voters of Asotin County to approve a 2/10 of 1 percent sales tax to be dedicated to the continued maintenance and operations of the Asotin County Family Aquatic Center. The District Board of Directors is made up of 5 individuals appointed by the County Commissioners, 1 from Clarkston, 1 from Asotin and 3 from the unincorporated county. BOARD MEMBERS:

FITNESS, SAFETY & TRAINING CLASSES BLENDED LEARNING LIFEGUARD COURSE
Nov. 3, 5-9p, Nov. 4 & 5, 9a-4p Cost $185 American Red Cross Lifeguarding is your ticket to fantastic, rewarding work at almost any swimming facility in the country. Upon successful completion, you will be certified in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, and oxygen administration. This course will be a blended learning course with half the course online and the other half in the classroom. If you are interested in attending please call 509-758-0110 or come in and register.
WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR (WSI)

Little Matey’s classes are designed to teach children and parents the basics of water comfort and safety, with parents in the water in the beginning levels. As the children progress on their own, they will learn the basics of body position, floating, and water movement, including beginning stroke work on their front, back and side.
