An inspiring weekend of arts & nature experienced as a self-guided tour across 12 North Shore garden spaces.
The 23rd annual Arts in the Garden was an opportunity to connect with nature through art. The event was a celebration of creativity, with visual and performance art experiences set in spectacular backdrops.
The garden spaces featured live music, an array of natural landscapes, and visual artists leading engaging art activities. Visitors were invited to wander through the 2 public and 10 private garden spaces, immersing themselves in nature, enjoying music from local musicians, and admiring visual art ranging from paintings to jewellery. There were 5 special performances throughout the weekend including dance, movement, and poetry.

FEEDBACK FROM ARTISTS
It was nice to meet other artist-types (musicians, crafts etc) in the same venue, which doesn’t happen often
I felt more connected to the north shore community just by participating!
I believe the event itself has been serving as a great hub to connect different streams of art in our community.
