CHANGES TO THE TRAFFIC FLOW

Please be advised that cars wishing to park in the upper car park will need to drive slowly through the centre of the pickup zone and into the parking areas.

This ensures all cars are driving in the one direction and helps with a smoother process for the sign duty staff member.

STUDENTS CANNOT BE DROPPED OFF AT SCHOOL BEFORE 8:15am

As we start the new year, it is important to remember that students cannot be dropped off at school prior to 8:15am.

Teachers start supervision duties at 8:15am, therefore it is unsafe for any student to be onsite without a parent actively supervising them before this time

YOUNG PEOPLE CHAMPIONING

PODCAST IN A DIGITAL WORLD

PARENT

EVENING

At Northside Christian College, we recognise the challenges young people face, from hyper-sexualised content to the influence of online culture. We believe they can live with courage, empathy, respect, and kindness—but they need guidance to navigate the messages they encounter around consent, relationships, stereotypes, and sexuality.

We are excited to welcome back Daniel Principe, a Christian youth advocate and educator, recently nominated for the 2025 Australian of the Year. Drawing from the latest research, Daniel equips families with practical insights and strategies to help young people critically assess and challenge cultural pressures.

In this session, Daniel will stereotypes, and the impact of porn culture.

With an evidence-based and faith-informed approach, he will offer tools to help parents and carers equip young people to build respectful, empathetic relationships that last into adulthood.

This promises to be an insightful and empowering evening—we would love for you to join us.

Tickets are FREE but essential —Book HERE.

TUESDAY4THMARCH 6:15pm-8:30pm

The Wellbeing Barometer survey is an invaluable tool for schools, providing critical insights into the mental health and wellbeing of young people. This annual survey identifies areas of concern, highlights resilience and adaptability in students, and emphasises the importance of preventative strategies to promote positive outcomes.

Participation in this survey is strongly encouraged, as it offers a comprehensive view of students' experiences, challenges, and achievements. By capturing a detailed understanding of young people's experiences, the survey supports a tailored approach to enhancing their mental, emotional, and social wellbeing. It helps to identify strengths and areas for improvement, as well as pinpoint opportunities for early intervention.

The survey is part of an ongoing longitudinal study, and we encourage you to take a few moments to complete the survey for each of your children. Responses remain anonymous and should be based on your observations over the last 12 months By working together, we can reduce the long-term impact of mental illness and make a meaningful difference to the lives of our young people for a brighter future.

We hope you take time to reflect on the information offered in this Special Report, and as always, we welcome your feedback.

If you do have any concerns about the wellbeing of your child, please contact the school for further information or seek medical or professional help
