Mini Recitals

On Thursday 8th June Northside hosted its first of many Mini Recitals in our dedicated music space. The evening performance saw students perform a wide range of piano repertoire that they had prepared, with the intimate audience really enjoying seeing their children perform. Some of our piano students are currently taking exams, this was a perfect way for them to practice performing their programs in front of an audience. We thank Ms Jacinta Wang for all her hard work with our piano students this semester. Please keep an eye out for more upcoming recitals in Term 3 for other instruments and our big ensembles night in October at Encompass Church. At Northside we seek to give every child an opportunity to take part in music and we are so excited to be hosting regular events again after the previous few years of challenges in the events space. Onwards and upwards!

Congratulations, Year 6 students, on your accomplishments this semester! Throughout the term, you delved into the rich diversity of cultures through the exploration of Western, Eastern, and various countries’ art forms. Your engagement with drawing and painting allowed you to develop your artistic skills and broaden your understanding of different art forms. Well done, Year 6’s, on your fantastic efforts!
