CSEN Senior Rally Day - Girl’s Basketball CSEN Soccer Championship

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the CSEN Soccer Championship showcased the talent of our young athletes on the field. The boys team demonstrated their prowess by clinching victories in two challenging games. Meanwhile, the girls team remained undefeated throughout the tournament, ultimately securing a remarkable 2-0 win in the Grand Final.

The boys’ team showcased their teamwork and dedication, securing impressive wins in two of their matches. Their outstanding performance can be attributed to the collective effort of every player on the field, but one player stood out among the rest. Timothy captained the side well and exhibited exemplary skills. He executed his team role flawlessly and communicated effectively with his teammates. His commitment and talent were instrumental in their victories. On the other hand, the girls’ team proved to be a formidable force, sweeping aside all opponents en route to the Grand Final. Neva and Lauren emerged as key players who dominated the midfield. Their stellar performances not only inspired the teammates but also motivated them to perform at their best. Christelle’s encouragement played a vital role in their triumphant journey. Kyra was a strong defender, rarely allowing the attackers to push past her. Charlize was unstoppable as goalkeeper. The whole team stepped up and really worked together in the rain and wet to achieve success.

The success of both teams would not have been possible without the support and guidance from their coaches (and coach driver!). Mrs. Venegas, Mr. Longley, and Mr. McInnes provided the teams with valuable coaching, refining their skills and fostering a winning mentality. Their dedication and expertise significantly contributed to the exceptional performances seen on the field. The CSEN Soccer Championship will be remembered as a successful event that showcased the remarkable skills, dedication, and teamwork of our Year 6 cohort. Congratulations to all the participants, and a special thanks to CSEN for providing great sporting opportunities.
