Prep INSPiRE

The students in Prep INSPiRE have been working hard to improve their problem-solving skills both independently and in collaboration with others. They have been introduced to the “learning pit” concept, which has helped them to tackle challenges with enthusiasm. Additionally, they have been learning new mathematical games and terminology, including concepts like “construct” and “number sentences.” During a recent lesson, they worked together as a team to determine the most efficient way to count an entire tub of blocks. We are very proud of their progress and creativity in the classroom. Students discovered that counting in 10’s or 20’s was the most efficient way. There were 1311 blocks in Mrs Cheah’s tub!
