Prep Farm Excursion

On May 3rd, the Preps were excited about their trip to Bundoora Farm, which they had been eagerly anticipating. They were bundled up and ready to explore all that the farm had to offer. During their visit, they had many experiences that taught them about living things and how to care for them. They were able to meet and feed a variety of animals, including hamsters, goats, a horse, and chickens. They also learned about the origins of food, such as how grains are turned into wheat to make flour and how milk is turned into cream and butter. The Preps were kept busy all day, tending to the animals and garden, cooking scones, and even meeting some of the local wildlife like kangaroos and emus. It was a fantastic day that the Preps thoroughly enjoyed. We would like to thank the staff at Bundoora Farm for the great program and all the parent helpers who accompanied us. Your presence made the day even more special!
