Year 5 CYC City Camp

The Year 5 Camp was such a fun camp where students were able to explore Melbourne for themselves, as well as with their class.

I saw students step up and lead their group through the city using a map. They were able to explore and see the variety of Melbourne, both old and new.

I felt that this camp really allowed students to develop their initiative. It provided space to develop resiliency through being away from their home and parents; to develop independence through decision making and team building by working in a group.

As a teacher, this was by far the best camp yet!
