PRIMARY NEWS PRIMARY NEWS

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the close of another busy and fruitful term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together and to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in our Northside school community.

This term has been filled with growth, learning, and moments of joy. From the classroom to the playground, we have seen our students develop not only academically, but also socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience has been evident, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved A highlight this week was our PSTCs where we celebrated learning and spent time sharing with families.

As we take a well-earned break, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank God for His countless blessings this term. We are grateful for His guidance and protection over our school, our families, and our students In times of challenge and celebration, we continue to trust in His plan for our lives, and we are thankful for the strength and grace He provides us each day

I would like to take a moment to farewell Mrs Angela Tuckwell who will be leaving Northside to take up a teaching position at Plenty Valley Christian College at the beginning of Term 2. We are so appreciative of Angela's contribution to our College over the past few years, and she will be missed!

We do know that God has good things in store and we pray for blessing and protection over Angela and her family as she makes this transition to her new school. I am delighted to inform you that after a successful recruitment process, we have employed Mrs Rebecca Matthews as the new Year 3AT classroom teacher, effective from Term 2, 2025. We are excited to welcome Rebecca to our team of staff, and we are confident she will bring a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to her role

As we approach the Easter season, we are reminded of the powerful message of hope, love, and salvation that Easter represents. It is a time for reflection and thanksgiving for the ultimate sacrifice made for us - the gift of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection As we celebrate this season, let us remember that through His resurrection, we are offered new life and the promise of eternal hope. I do pray that this resonates strongly within you during this time of remembrance and celebration.

I pray that the upcoming holiday brings rest, joy, and meaningful time with loved ones for you all. May we return in the new term with renewed energy and a continued sense of purpose as we work together to nurture the hearts and minds of our wonderful students Thank you again for your unwavering support. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful community of families, and I look forward to all that lies ahead in the next term.

Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed break

God bless you,
