External Relations Manager Part Time North Shore CDC invests in neighborhoods to create thriving communities. We envision a North Shore where every neighborhood is one of choice and opportunity. Our neighborhood development model invests social, human and economic capital into predominantly low-income or distressed neighborhoods within the communities on the North Shore to improve quality of life. We are seeking an External Relations Manager to create a culture of philanthropy and foster awareness of our community impact. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates directly with both the board of directors and board of advisors. The External Relations Manager is responsible for leading aspects of development, while also creating relationships with external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Development • Collaborate with CEO to create a fund development plan which increases revenues to support the strategic direction of the organization • Grow the individual donor stewardship program through management of the CITC state donor program • Collaborate with the Marketing and Development Manager on multiple stakeholder stewardship events, & various program engagement events. • Develop and maintain key long-term relationships throughout the North Shore, including corporate and community donors and partners Qualifications: • 5 years of senior development experience, preferably on the North Shore • A proven track record of success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual, private, and corporate donors • Able to work both independently and with others, engaging as a team player at varying levels within and outside the organization
