Boardman City Manager update

The City of Boardman began working with Strategic Government Resources of Keller, Texas in September to recruit candidates to fill the position of city manager. The city hosted a public Meet and Greet and panel interviews of the finalists. The city council extended a conditional offer of employment to Elke Doom of Huron Township, Michigan. Mrs. Doom rescinded her name from consideration. At this point, the city council will be working to decide how they will proceed with hopes to have the position filled in a timely manner. The City Council is committed to a community-informed search and will provide updates to the community as soon as more information becomes available. The council would like to thank everyone involved in the hiring process and commend the community for participating in the process.
