Last month, we had the privilege of hosting an extraordinary week in Montana during the Hola Montana Inbound Trade Mission 2025. This initiative went beyond site visits it created meaningful opportunities to build long-term partnerships, trust, and connections between U.S. farmers and international buyers. We hosted more than 12 international buyers from Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia, Chile, and Brazil. Throughout the mission, our guests:

PULSEQUALITYSURVEY
Greetings Pulse Producers,
We need your assistance! As in years past, the NPGA will be collecting samples for the 2025 Pulse Quality Survey from our region. The survey provides important marketing information to global customers and the research community.
Established in 2007, the Northern Pulse Growers Association collaborated with Northern Crops Institute in Fargo to create the first pulse quality survey in the U S Since that time, we joined forces with USA Pulses and expanded the survey to include growing regions across the United States. The data from this survey provides important information such as protein and starch content, cooking and canning qualities.
We are requesting 2 lb. samples of peas, lentil, and chickpeas. If you are willing to assist us with this, please contact the office for information to include with the samples.
We will reimburse you for mailing costs, so please submit a receipt if amount of postage is not printed on the box by the Postal Service
Please mail your samples to the NPGA office: 1710 Burnt Boat Drive, Suite #4, Bismarck ND 58503. We will be forwarding the samples to Dr Cliff Hall at SDSU for analysis
U.S. grown pulses play an important role in the global food supply and we hope to continue to provide potential customers with this important information. You can view the 2024 report on the NPGA website (www northernpulse com)
