Reduced diameter micro struts are engineered as thin as possible while maintaining structural integrity. FAST CONTROLLED RESPONSE BRIDLES
The Orbit has a four-point bridle, engineered for stability in overpowered and gusty conditions, and refined for controlled response and fast steering. For nailing the highest-scoring tricks, the Orbit Pro and Orbit Ultra feature new 5-point bridles to ensure consistent high-performance - especially in the high end, and giving the kite a more energetic feel with increased depower. Our competition athletes have put all the Orbits through hardcore testing in extreme conditions, enabling us to refine the steering behaviour and give the kite a more responsive feel. THREE BAR PRESSURE OPTIONS FOR PRECISE STEERING AND DEPOWER
Adjust your bar pressure/steering impulse via the attachment points at the wing tip for your rear bridle lines. The Orbit has three attachment points. It is pre-set on the second point from the wingtip. Setting A is closest to the wingtip, this gives the kite a lighter, more forgiving feeling. For more direct steering and shorter depower travel, move your connection forward on the wingtip to Setting C. This is the most stable choice in high winds and is recommended for stronger, heavier riders. ORBIT
LIGHT AND DIRECT BAR PRESSURE OPTIONS FOR PRECISE STEERING AND DEPOWER
The Orbit Pro and Ultra have two attachment points, and are pre-set closest to the wingtip (-), use this setting for lighter bar pressure. Move the connection further away from the wingtip (+) for more bar pressure, a firmer, more direct steering and shorter depower travel. The + setting has a Formula One feel, requiring a little more force to control the steering, and is the most stable choice in high winds. ORBIT PRO / ORBIT ULTRA
REFINED WEIGHT-SAVING CONSTRUCTION
Engineered to feel as light as possible, the Orbit Pro and Orbit Ultra have many weight-saving features for lighter more agile handling. We’ve used lighter airframe materials, stripped back the scuff guards, used the lightest bladders, reduced the HyperFlow hardware and steering impulse attachment points. The canopy is constructed using North High Tenacity Ripstop (N-HTRS) polyester yarn canopy material for lightness, high tear strength and longevity. ORBIT PRO / ORBIT ULTRA
REFINED STRUT ISOLATION CAPACITY
To reduce the overall kite weight, the Orbit Pro and Ultra are supplied with a single HyperFlow pinch clamp on the centre strut only. This helps to concentrate any weight in the centre of the kite, enabling a balanced load distribution for faster turning and reduced swing weight. Refined panel cuts reduce the number of seams and ensure a precise lateral profile shape is maintained as close to the leading edge as possible, creating a smooth transition from the segmented leading edge to the curved canopy. SEGMENTED CURVE ARC-DESIGN
We’ve smoothed out the shape of the LE, introducing a segmented curve arc that is slightly narrower in the shoulders and wider in the wingtips. Because weight matters. Lighter weight means a smaller turning radius, faster steering, more lift and higher jumps. Bladders make up a bigger weight percentage than any other material used in a kite, so we’ve selected 17% lighter weight bladder material in all sizes to help the kite feel even lighter and more responsive in all conditions. This additional weight reduction improves the low-end capabilities and helps the kite fly more efficiently. It also improves the overall static balance by reducing weight in the front of the kite. Every North kite bag is made from a durable recycled polyester ripstop fabric. Recycled materials are also used to make our own custom webbing. We’ve chosen Aluula, an extremely light, strong and durable composite material to add extra rigidity the Orbit Ultra’s inflated structures. UV-resistant outer film is sustainably bonded to the ultra-strong high-modulus ALUULA Core material. The resulting lamination produces a high-performance nonpermeable fabric with an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio.

The increased rigidity of Aluula means the LE and struts can be smaller in diameter. The thinner airframe retains the same torsional flexibility as traditional Dacron with improved shape hold in extreme conditions.
YOUR DESERT ISLAND KITE
Lively, nimble, and easy to ride, the Reach is our most versatile go-to kite in all conditions. The 2025 Reach has a more swept design, slightly higher aspect ratio, and refined bridle positioning points for a playful, smoother and faster-flying kite with more direct steering and dynamic recovery.
The Reach has superb loft and hangtime with a compact steering radius, thanks to its medium-high aspect ratio design with wider wing-tip and well-balanced bridle. During a loop, many kites will pause before they climb back up, but the Reach has a smooth, consistent catch and doesn’t hesitate to come back around.
Improved low end and depower
For 2025, we’ve increased the aspect ratio slightly (0.15%), given the design more sweep and refined the bridle positioning points for better low-end performance and more depower.
Direct and Responsive Steering
Tactile handling with light bar pressure and steering impulse for a fast response and tight turning radius. Refined tuning of the short responsive bridle and bridle positioning points gives the Reach quick, exponential depower, allowing you to ride it in an even wider range of conditions. The bar pressure and steering impulse can be adjusted on the wing tip, allowing you to fine-tune the kite’s characteristics to your personal preference.
Durable and Lightweight N-Max2 Airframe
A lighter-weight kite has a snappier response, more direct steering and more dynamic recovery. The N-Max2 construction of the leading edge and struts save a significant amount of weight. For 2025 we’ve continued to use the least amount of Dacron possible on the kite for weight savings. We’ve used a two-ply canopy material along the trailing edge for optimal steering and performance, without compromising strength or durability. A lighter-weight kite has a snappier response, more direct steering and more dynamic recovery.
Larger sizes faster flying in light wind
Predictable, consistent power delivery in every condition, and exceptional performance at the low-end. The 13 to 19m Reach are optimised to get you up and riding with a power-hungry twintip like the new Trace in just 8 knots. The combination of lighter weight materials and design elements give the kite a surprisingly light bar pressure, fast turning speed and fore and aft balance. We recommend you select your lightwind kite size according to rider weight rather than wind range. We recommend the 13m for lighter riders (under 70kg), the 17m for heavier riders (over 85kg) and the new 19m for riders over 100kg.
Easy relaunch
The kite’s moderate leading-edge diameter provides additional buoyancy, helping the kite release quickly from the water in even the lightest conditions.

Quick responsive steering and neutral static balance helps you fire up your performance in the surf, without any surprises. The Reach drifts well and doesn’t fall over, front-stall or back-stallmaking it your go-to kite for foiling and wave-riding.
Segmented curve arc for improved canopy tension
Where nature meets technology. The Reach arc shape allows tension to transition evenly through the canopy, as you would see in a catenary shape in nature. The segmented curve arc gives the kite a clean profile that is stable in kite loops. Light and fast, with a crisp feel.
Massive wind range and upwind drive
A precise draft-forward profile gives the Reach a very smooth and efficient profile entry and upwind drive. The single profile transition panel helps to reduce the number of seams, and smooths out the profile shape, creating a smooth transition from the segmented leading edge to the curved canopy. This results in an even more aerodynamic and efficient airflow and less turbulence.
Progressive freestyle medium-high AR
A forgiving kite with pop when you need it for freestyle manoeuvres. The medium-high aspect ratio, combined with the powerful profile, gives the Reach explosive pop. Good pop helps generate line slack for handle passes - simply load up, edge hard and pop off the water for easy freestyle progression.
Airlite Lightweight bladders in every size
Bladders make up a bigger weight percentage than any other material used in a kite. The lighter the kite, the more efficiently it flies, the greater the performance in lighter winds, the faster the steering, the more lift created and the higher you jump.
Durable, higher tensile leading-edge seams
Due to inflation and steering movement, the closing seam of the leading edge experiences a great deal of force, so we use a lightweight thread that features higher breaking strength and better shock-absorbing qualities. Similar to the lines on a parachute, which undergo a great deal of movement and elongation, the new thread has improved fatigue, impact, and wear resistance.
Highest quality no-pulley, low drag bridle lines
Our highest-quality, low-profile, pre-stretched bridle lines are pre-loaded and measured before cutting to improve accuracy and consistency. This results in reduced shrinkage, reduced elongation and improved longevity. Removing ALL pulleys from the bridle improves safety and gives the kite direct and precise handling. The result is lower drag, more accuracy and a more direct feeling.
High Performance N-HTRS Canopy
All our kites are manufactured using North High Tenacity Ripstop (N-HTRS) polyester yarn canopy material for lightness, high tear strength, zero porosity and longevity.
DuraLite seam protection
Lightweight reinforcement to protect from chafing and abrasion along the struts to the leading edge. Thin foam padding is inserted underneath to form a lightweight durable buffer which lifts the kite slightly off rough surfaces and protects the stitching along the struts and leading edge seams.
Kevlar reinforced strut system with bridle deflectors
For the most accurate and durable connection between the strut and the leading edge, bridle deflectors on the leading edge prevent the control lines from catching on the struts.
HyperFlow rapid inflation system cap and valve geometry
Ergonomic high volume single point inflation system with large diameter hose for rapid inflation and deflation. The cap and valve base geometry have been updated for more comfortable opening and closing in colder conditions (when your fingers are freezing). The bayonet-style main inflation valve is compatible with most pumps - no adapter is required.
Recycled PET Kite Bag with Foil Assist
The recycled PET fabric meets the Global Recycling Standard. The Reach Kite Bag features Foil Assist, a comfortable STPU padded area with a groove designed especially for carrying a foil mast over your shoulder.

The Carve is a powerful, reactive and controllable surf/ strapless freestyle kite, with a stable, lower aspect ratio design for fast pivot turns and excellent drift.
Longer travel for improved drift and smoother response
The Carve is a statically balanced, stable kite that resists nose diving. Its bridling ensures you’re able to maintain complete drift while sheeted in or out, riding a down-the-line or onshore wave. It features longer, more progressive depower travel. The pressure gets higher as you bring the bar closer to your body. This helps the kite feel smoother and perform more responsively throughout the full depower range. Using the full length of travel helps improve the drift and ensures when you sheet out, it will still react. The Carve provides an extremely direct feel in both bar pressure and steering initiation, with intuitive feedback from the bar in both directions, so you’ll always know where your kite is.
Lightweight durable reinforcement
Removing any unnecessary excess weight helps the kite drift better, without compromising its structural integrity. The reinforcement material at the trailing edge is a 2-ply canopy, with N-Dure2 dacron reinforcement on the wingtips. The two layers of canopy material are softer, allowing the kite to twist better and be more responsive. This re-engineered construction allows the kite to be more responsive in the steering and depower, improves the Carve’s static balance and light wind performance, without affecting the strength and durability. The lighter weight helps with the drift and behaviour of the kite and reduces any tendency to front stall in lightwind conditions.
Improved wind range with more low-end efficiency
The Carve’s low aspect ratio design creates more apparent wind, providing excellent stability and wind. For 2025, we’ve improved its high-end for higher boosts and hangtime, maintaining the kite’s linear power delivery and low end. The kite is rock solid when it needs to be, yet still has the control and manageability you need for jumps and tricks. Strapless freestyle riders will love the hangtime and catch, which lets you stay in the air for longer, kiteloop with ease and land softly.
Lightweight bladders in ALL sizes
The lighter the kite, the faster the steering and the more lift it creates. The Carve has lighter weight bladders in all sizes in the range. This helps the Carve to fly more efficiently, so the kite feels even lighter and more responsive in all conditions – and particularly in light wind. It also improves the overall static balance of the wing by reducing weight in the front of the kite. Bladders make up a bigger weight percentage than any other material used in a kite. The new bladder material is 17% lighter than in previous bladders.
Smooth power delivery
For 2025 we’ve reduced the leading-edge diameter and smoothed out the profiles to provide a smoother power delivery.
Segmented curve arc with direct pivot steering
The Carve has a segmented curve arc design with lighter wingtips. We’ve maintained the smoother curve and shape draft back, so the balance is in the centre of the profile.
Highest quality low-drag, no-pulley bridle lines
All North bridle lines are pre-loaded and measured before cutting to improve accuracy and consistency. This results in reduced shrinkage, reduced elongation and improved longevity. Removing ALL pulleys from the bridle improves safety and gives the kite direct and precise handling. The end result is lower drag, more accuracy and a more direct feeling.
N-HTRS High Performance high tenacity ripstop canopy
All our kites are manufactured using high tenacity polyester yarn canopy material for lightness, high tear strength, zero porosity and longevity.
Refined aerodynamic profile transition panels
The profile transition panels ensure that as the leading edge expands, tension from the elongation doesn’t migrate into the canopy and a precise lateral profile shape is maintained as close to the leading edge as possible. This creates a smooth transition from the segmented leading edge to the curved canopy, so the profiles are more uniform throughout the entire wing. The panels reduce inconsistencies in the profile, resulting in a smoother, more efficient kite, with more aerodynamic airflow, drive and stability.
Fast-launching swept leading edge design
Allows more area in the centre of the kite for efficiency and makes the kite easy to roll off the water during critical relaunch in the surf. The Carve is not swept in the trailing edge like a bow kite, but it has a lot of curvature when viewed from the side, and the wingtips are not particularly wide. This puts a lot of the usable area in the centre of the kite, rather than in the wing tip. So even though the Carve is lower aspect, it is still efficient for its size, and more importantly, the relaunch is super-quick. With less leading edge on the water it doesn’t lay flat, so for fast relaunch simply rotate the bar. This helps if you’re riding waves and need to relaunch your kite quickly when a set’s coming.

2x personalised performance tuning options
Bar pressure and steering impulse can be adjusted on the wing tip, allowing you to fine tune the kite’s characteristics to your personal preference. There are two options. Use the attachment point closest to the wingtip for a lighter, more forgiving feel. If you prefer a more direct steering and shorter depower travel, you’re able to move the lines forward on the wingtip for more bar pressure.
Kevlar reinforced strut system with bridle deflectors
For the most accurate and durable connection between the strut and the leading edge. Bridle deflectors on the leading edge prevent the control lines catching on the struts.
HyperFlow rapid single-point inflation
Ergonomic high volume single point inflation system with large diameter hose for rapid inflation and deflation. The cap and valve base have been engineered for comfortable opening and closing in colder conditions (when your fingers are freezing). The bayonet style main inflation valve is compatible with most pumps. No adapter needed.

Pulse Technology
Modern-C design
The ultimate freestyle performer with impressive line slack for handle passes and unhooking. On a regular bridled kite, if you unhook and do a railey, the kite will immediately maintain its shape and fly forward again. However with the new Pulse, the kite provides explosive pop, then lines go slack after you check an edge. The lines stay untensioned, giving you time to perform your tricks with ease.
Powerful turns
As a modern-C kite, the Pulse has an inverted U shape, with a slight regression in the centre progressing back to relatively straight tip-ends. The front lines are attached directly to the wingtips, without a bridle. It has a powerful steering impulse, and higher bar pressure, which contributes to the impressive pop and slack.
5-Lines*
Unlike a traditional C-kite, the 5th line on the Pulse is loaded to support the shape and ensure safe relaunch. The fifth-line is part of the bar and is attached to the bridle of the kite. The Pulse has a single bridle, purely to support the arc shape and allow for a more ‘open’ shape than a non-loaded-five-line-kite.

Leading Edge Segments
Each panel of the leading edge is curved, so there is a smoother more aerodynamic arc shape overall. This 3D shape also eliminates the need for transition panels between the LE and the canopy.
5-Strut Stability
The 5-strut design provides additional canopy support, keeping the profile steady.
Fast in flight
A narrower span kite such as the Pulse is fast in flight, so you can build up the speed required to pop unhooked tricks. The Pulse arc design features a smooth curved efficient central region to produce power, with straighter wing tips for a more dynamic steering response. The curved profile entry, flatter toward the wingtips, makes the Pulse efficient and smooth-handling.
Personalised performance tuning options
Bar pressure and steering impulse can be adjusted on the rear wing tip, where you attach your rear lines, allowing you to fine tune the kite’s characteristics to your personal preference. The Pulse has two settings – closer to the wingtip for lighter bar pressure, closer to the centre for more direct.

Lightweight
2-ply reinforcement
Using 2-ply canopy reinforcement material on the trailing edge saves weight without affecting durability, strength or elongation control, and makes the kite more responsive in the steering and depower. The result is a durable kite that can hold its profile for increased performance and lift, but is also dynamic, flexible and can twist to turn.
Lightweight bladders in all sizes
Bladders make up a bigger weight percentage than any other material used in a kite. The lighter the kite, the more efficiently it flies, the greater the performance in lighter winds, the faster the steering, the more lift created and the higher you jump.
DuraLite seam protection
Lightweight reinforcement to protect from chafing and abrasion along the struts to the leading edge. Thin foam padding is inserted underneath to form a lightweight durable buffer which lifts the kite slightly off rough surfaces, and protects the stitching along the struts and leading edge seams.
Durable, high tensile leading edge seams
There is a large amount of force on the closing seam of the leading edge due to inflation and steering movement. We’ve used a lightweight thread with a higher breaking strength and better shock-absorbing qualities. Similar to the lines on a parachute, which undergo a high amount of movement and elongation, this thread has improved fatigue, impact and wear resistance.

The Code Zero is a light, fast and reactive single-strut performer with effortless one-handed control and efficient light wind power delivery. Ideal for foil and waveriding, the Code Zero flies and turns quickly - with excellent drift and manoeuvrability. Drift is ideal for foiling, where you travel at very high speeds and it’s important the kite goes along with you.
Increased depower and bigger range
For 2025, Code Zero has more depower and a wider wind range. We’ve introduced a more durable and flexible lightweight N-Max2 airframe material for a smoother response, more direct steering and more dynamic recovery. The new N-Max2 LE and strut material is optimised for better consistency and durability. 8% lighter than a standard Dacron (156gsm), the material’s multi-layer longitudinal weave also improves tear strength by 30% and has greater bias elongation.
Smoother aerodynamics and minimal flutter
To minimise flutter and increase depower, we’ve refined the LE shape and diameter and updated the canopy shape and angle of attack in the wingtip, moving the wingtips further forward with slightly more forward sweep. Small battens on the trailing edge in the larger sizes help to stabilize the canopy.
More control
The LE bridle attachment points are repositioned to match the swept LE, which, in turn, gives you better control. The bridlepoints are designed to sit on the intersegments, ensuring the bridle loads through a thicker part of the LE for a more direct/solid feel.
Fun and easy to fly
Super fun and easy to fly, with intuitive relaunch and reverse launch, the Code Zero is ideal for learning to kite or foil in light winds. The kite is stable and evenly tensioned with a balanced geometry, which ensures it has minimal flutter and maintains its upwind capability. The balanced geometry makes one-handed steering a breeze, which means you can always foil in your preferred stance.
New sizing
We’ve started to introduce more linear sizing with the new 3.5 and 4m kite, and continue the 14m, which is ideal for learning in light wind. But if you’re <70kg and hydrofoiling, you won’t need bigger than an 8m – even in the lightest winds.
One of the lightest single-strut kites ever designed
We’ve stripped back the kite’s construction to the essential. This helps contribute to the Code Zero’s playful, agile feel and fun, dynamic steering. The Code Zero has an N-Max2 leading edge and strut, a double-canopy layer to reinforce the trailing edge, and lighter-weight bladder material in every size. DuraLite wingtip chafe protectors provide abrasion resistance only where you need it. In light wind kiting, you want to go out using the smallest possible kite in the least amount of wind. To keep the kite flying, the less weight it has, the easier it is to fly. We wanted to see how light you could go without losing performance or making it too fragile. Engineered using the lightest materials possible, we’ve taken a minimalist approach – there’s nothing on it you don’t need.
Ride lighter wind conditions with a smaller kite
The Code Zero is a highly efficient one-strut kite with a wide wind range and impressive power – so you can ride lighter wind conditions with a smaller kite. With its responsive power delivery in light, shifty conditions, the Code Zero reacts very directly on steering impulses. Depending on the size, the Code Zero performs best in its low-end range, and will carry you through the lulls and gusts. When you’re riding with more wind, the smaller sizes are ideal for freeride foiling. The kite is lighter and faster through the window, making it fun for performing tricks.

UNIDIRECTIONAL CARBON REINFORCEMENT
North exclusive 3DY Carbon Unidirectional reinforcement provides an extremely fast and reactive response when loaded, with greater torsional and longitudinal board stiffness.
We’ve run unidirectional carbon in the direction of the load paths to transfer the load from your bindings to the edge efficiently. The 3DY creates a stiffer beam between the bindings, contributes to the board’s lively feel and lower weight and delivers more pop without adding an unnecessary amount of stiffness. They also prevent the loaded tip from flexing and losing grip when edging.
Our refined carbon laminate layup delivers a dynamic and responsive high-performance ride. Crafted from layers of 12K woven carbon, 300gsm triax carbon and North exclusive 3DY-unidirectional carbon tapes, the Pro Carbon construction delivers an extremely fast and reactive response when loaded, with greater torsional and longitudinal board stiffness. The real difference with a carbon laminate is not just the stiffness, it’s the reflex or energy return – how fast it springs back to shape. The amount of energy you put in = what you get back. This is why more aggressive riders gravitate to carbon boards. The flipside is that carbon is much stiffer, so it takes more power to store the energy.

Our new custom triaxial E-glass laminate is engineered using a combination of 0 and +/45deg fibres to improve the efficacy of every fibre and the overall stiffness/ torsional stiffness of the board. Strategically placed layers of 3DY unidirectional carbon tape reinforce the laminate in high load areas. This layup is sandwiched with a Paulownia wood core to deliver a well-balanced, more forgiving flex so you can ride for longer, with flow and form. The Hybrid Carbon layup is more forgiving on the knees.
We’ve selected a lighter weight biaxial woven fibreglass for the Astra, tailoring the weight and overall flex pattern to the rider. We’ve orientated the e-glass and 3DY UD carbon tapes in the laminate layup to optimise the loading of the individual fibres. Dynamic flex
The flex characteristic of every TwinTip Board is determined by multiple features built into each specific design. Core thickness variations and taper, as well as detailing, longitudinally and laterally, play the most significant role in controlling the overall flex and feel. Composite Fins included
Strong, abrasion-resistant composite fins with dogbone washers and M6x16mm standardised screws. Fins are a tuning device; a board with more outline curve like the Prime can respond well to a slightly bigger fin. The outline curve combined with the fin gives you the ability to carve in full control – a bigger fin can help you maintain stability when you’re carving hard. A board with a straight outline like the Trace wants to track straight all on its own. With this shape of board, you can put a smaller fin on it to reduce drag in lighter wind and give you the ability to push it around a bit more. GripFlex lightweight, rubberized EVA provides soft cushioning and maintains grip underfoot when wet, while the fine grip pattern helps keep your foot locked in on various angles.
Anatomical support, structure and stability
Contoured anatomical footbed and ramped chassis increases lateral support, structure and stability. The footpad is ergonomically angled to encourage optimised weight distribution and knee alignment, helping to minimise common rider injuries. Outer angled heel inserts give increased lateral support, helping to ensure your foot rolls properly to provide a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air.
Ramped toe bar
The ramped toe bar has been engineered with an angled tactile edge to get purchase on and prevent your foot from slipping out during high rotation tricks. We’ve lowered the toebar a little on the Flex LX to provide a better fit for all different foot types.
Custom comfort
4 new sizes for a more personalised fit in S, M, L, XL. To ensure the right fit, check that there’s enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the adjustable top strap doesn’t slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot.
Adjustable top-loading strap
For quick setup and a perfect fit for all sizes. Strap Adjusters allow comfortable foot positioning, a secure feel and use of the toe bar. Simply drop the inner and outer Strap Adjusters into the baseplate from the top, move forward or backward then pull up into your desired position. For a more locked-in feeling set the inner two Strap Adjusters further apart. The rear eyelets have an outward kick to ensure your foot never comes in contact with the edge of the eyelet on hard landings.
Maximum Shock Absorption
The triple density dynamic support technology - absorbs and disperses impact after gravity-defying boosts, protects your heels and makes for softer landings. Softer high-density impact pads protect the heel from board contact on big landings, and are dual-moulded with a medium-density layer for serious impact protection. Another softer insert pod provides strategically-placed comfort under the ball of the foot.

Small and Medium are 22% lighter and the larger sizes are 14% lighter because we’ve reduced the footprint.
KnitFlex seamless topside comfort
Our lightweight and responsive seamless KnitFlex strap inners are engineered for topside comfort and support. The Knitflex fabric is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there’s no inner stitching to rub on your foot. The soft foam allows your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position.
Precision velcro straps reduce water lift
Injection velcro decreases sand retention and extended top flaps increase hold and reduce water lift. The split inner-velcro design ensures a custom fit on top of the feet for all shapes, sizes and rider styles. Position the velcro straps wider apart for a more fixed feel, closer together for easy board-offs. Our fully re-engineered top flap gives a strong hold without compromising strap flexibility.
Easy stance adjustment to suit all riders.
Our Flex Pro mounting system uses standardised M6x16mm screw hardware to fasten the binding to the board in various positions. As a starting point we recommend using Setting I (debossed on the topside of chassis) for North 2020 – 2022 boards. Use Setting II for 2023 boards onwards. From there you can change your duck stance, move the bindings backwards (heelside) or forwards (toeside) or set the position for a wide or narrow stance.
Compatible with other boards
The oval fastening hole allows for both 6”- 6.5” industry standard screw spacings, which makes the Flex LX compatible with most TwinTip brands.
FlipTech mounting
For 2023 and 2024, all of the North TwinTip boards have our new FlipTech Mounting System, with centreline inserts. This means if you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around and you’ve got a shiny new heelside rail again. The Flex Pro bindings are compatible with both the 2023-2024 FlipTech boards and 2020-2022 offline boards. The “2” indicator on the Flex Pro is for the boards that have flip tech, and is our recommended setup positioning for a 15/-15 degree duck stance.

Super-fast assembly with maximum adjustability

Anatomical comfort with grip when wet
The anatomically-shaped footbed is engineered using a single layer of waterproof rubberized EVA foam. Lightweight, durable, and impact absorbing, with the grip pattern height increased for added comfort, its forward-angled anti-slip serration pattern helps your foot stay in place on various angles. The shock-absorbing footbed is ergonomically angled to encourage optimised weight distribution and knee alignment, provide core support and reduce pressure on your feet, knees, hips and back.
Seamless KnitFlex top strap
The soft and comfortable single-fastening strap conforms to all foot shapes, while the rigid skeletal frame within the strap ensures a supportive locked feel. Our unique seamless KnitFlex lining is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there’s no stitching to rub on your foot.
Extended lateral arch supports
The inner and outer arch supports ensure an even distribution of weight and stabilise the tarsal bones, allowing for a more solid stance and maximum support during hard landings. The arch supports are extended inside the strap to ensure comfort where the top strap meets the footbed, protecting your foot from the most rigid load-bearing[HP1] part of the binding. No blisters, no hard edges.
Raised toe grip
The raised toe grip allows your toes to remain loose and spread out in their natural position, while also providing an edge for riders to get purchase on. The new softer toe bar has been engineered to suit different foot shapes, allowing the rider to grip on with toes and prevent your foot from slipping out during high rotation tricks and landings.
Shaped heel cup
The shaped heel cup cradles the heel and stabilises the foot upon impact. We’ve engineered it wider on the new Flex so you can lock your foot sideways in both directions.
Injection Velcro strap
Decreases sand and debris retention. Extended top flaps increase hold and reduce water lift.
Longitudinally convexed chassis shape
The convex drives more pressure on to the tip and heel of the chassis when the binding is attached to the board, locking out sand and debris from under the binding.

Two size options
A good starting point would be Men’s US 9 (EU42.5) and above for binding size L/XL but we highly recommend trying before purchase to guarantee the best fit. We have found it’s more to do with the shape and angle of your upper foot than foot length when aiming for the most effective fit.

Smooth and powerful down the line, turning hard in the pocket and releasing on-demand, the Charge Pro delivers responsive handling at speed and vertical attack in larger waves, excels at carving, driving upwind and onshore riding.
The Pro-technology lightweight Carbon Innegra Futurelite wireframe forms a structural skeleton to support the laminates, maximising strength without losing flex, and allowing the board to load and release power on demand for more drive and responsiveness. On the top side, the Futurelite runs down the centreline of the board and around the foot strap inserts. On the bottom side, it runs along the rails and locks in the leash plug and fin boxes, giving the board a direct feel with no delay. Futurelite allows us to dial in the flex of the board perfectly and create a very durable, lightweight kite surfboard that really comes alive in the waves.

High-performance DynaLite construction with carbon reinforced laminate layup delivers lightweight strength and stiffness for faster feedback and more explosive pop. Biaxial Glass layers provide torsional strength, while stepped layers of unidirectional carbon reinforcement tape in specific high-stress rail areas dial in the global longitudinal flex of the board. The durable low-volume, high-density PVC core provides faster feedback and more direct response. Its thin profile and lighter weight makes handling in the air so much easier. It also makes the board less buoyant on the water, which means softer landings that are easier on your body, because there is less counter-force on landings.

Surfboard Technology
The lightest way to make the strongest board. We’ve engineered our EcoLite Impact Resistant Bamboo Construction for durable lightweight strength and stiffness with fast feedback. By using thin layers of bamboo veneers in the laminate, you gain global stiffness of the board and impact resistance at once, while keeping the board weight really low. The Cross has a very agile and direct feel. There’s no delay when you give a steering command. It is also soft on the landings and handles the choppy conditions extremely well.
Honeycomb Mesh Recycled Cardboard Packaging
We’ve removed all plastic from our surfboard packaging, replacing it with a unique cushioning material that mimics honeycomb. Strategically cut to allow the card to stretch into many different hexagons, this flexible material creates a lightweight protective layer of ‘honeycomb’ mesh. The mesh behaves like a spring to absorb impact and protect the board from abrasion. Conventional cardboard box packaging is very rigid and offers little cushioning or support around large, curved items like our surfboards. As a solution, the space between a product and its box is often filled with polystyrene, bubble wrap and other single-use plastic materials to create a layer of protection. Many of these materials cannot be recycled and contribute to the plastic waste that ends up in our oceans and landfills.

The recessed deck positions the rider’s feet slightly below the rail, enhancing control and adding another dimension for handling in the air. Standing inside the board is hydrostatically more stable, and combines with the V-Spine and low-volume design to help you stick your landings in any condition. COMP PRO

The board is minimal in size with a parallel directional outline and narrow, sharp rails to allow for speed and edge control in a range of conditions. Pulled in slightly at the nose for increased top-end performance, with a wide but lower volume tail, so you can dig in the rear rail for greater pop. COMP PRO

The rocker is smoothed into a clean curve nose to tail, helping the board to stick to your feet during strapless tricks. Its scooped nose eats through the chop and lets you stick any landing – even tail-forward. COMP PRO

Sharp, bevelled rails and fast-release edges on the tail allow water to shed quickly and the board to release faster. The bevelled rail profile reduces the suction effect of a round rail so water can shed off the rail and not wrap onto the deck.

Tri-plane hull design
Designed for earlier takeoffs and faster release. The double V-shape in the bottom contour of the board is created by a single concave in the centre with an angled planing surface on each side. The water tracks from the central concave and side rails to the two longitudinal spines, allowing the board to lift and release quickly, without sticking. Refined Bevelled Rails
Bevelled rails help with touchdown recovery, creating a wider deck with a narrower footprint. The effect is like having a smaller board. You don’t stick when you touch the water, but you still have the standing area for comfort. The Vert also features grip-friendly concaved forward rails, to make duckdiving and pop-ups easier. While riding you can grab the rail for added stability and control of your foil. GORE™ waterproof 2-way vent
The EPS core of a high volume board is affected by extreme temperature changes. To prevent air pressure build-up we’ve installed a two-way GORE™ Protective Vent on the top deck. Our highest-performance front wings, ideal for intermediate to advanced riders. Incredibly efficient, fast and direct, the HA Series is ideally suited to highspeed kitefoiling, surfing bigger waves, and riding fastmoving downwind swells. The wingtips are designed for zero ventilation when you tip-breach, allowing you to crank faster, tighter radius turns at higher speeds, without losing speed. The smaller HA550-HA950 has less planing surface and higher stall speed. They are designed to generate maximum efficiency and lift for high-speed kite foiling.

Flat, loose and even faster. We recommend pairing the S178 with Front Wing Size HA950 or smaller. The S178 has a higher aspect ratio than the S208.

Impossibly thin. Impressively fast.
We’ve reduced the thickness of the submerged portion of our new High Modulus Carbon masts by over 15% compared to our standard Carbon masts, while also increasing both bending and torsional stiffness. The HM85 covers all disciplines. Wind-powered disciplines require edging against the wind to create forward drive.
Some of this drive comes from the front wing and some comes from the mast. To efficiently provide this drive, the chord length in the submerged part of the mast is slightly longer. It increases near the top of the mast to maximise stiffness with no drag penalty, as this part of the mast is clear of the water once on foil.

What is High Modulus?
Modulus of Elasticity (E) is a measurement of the stiffness of a material and is defined as the ratio of stress to strain when the material is deformed. The higher the modulus, the stiffer the material (i.e., the greater the stress necessary to cause deformation).
High Modulus carbon fibers are created through specialized heat treatment processes which deliver much higher tensile modulus values around 4400MPa (megapascal), but at a reduced tensile strength of 377GPa (gigapascal). This fiber will produce a part that is much stiffer but will lower tensile strength.
