North Sails is renowned for using 3Di technology in their podium-proven racing sails, so chasing optimal stiffness in the inflated airframe, we’ve applied the same material to our wings, with the new patent-pending Carbon UDi technology. For 2025, we’ve extended anti-deflection unidirectional carbon tapes from tip-tip inside the entire leading edge (LE) of all North wings, for an even more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster. The Carbon UDi prevents unnecessary deformation while keeping the wing lightweight and responsive, and enables us to reduce the LE diameter.

Mode Ultra Technology
Partial Double Skin
A lightweight canopy layer positioned on the underside of the leading edge helps to reduce drag. This layer ensures the airflow stays attached as it travels from the leading edge to the trailing edge and reduces turbulent flow under the wing, which otherwise would significantly contribute to drag. Like the rigid profile section wing of a Sail GP F50 or the twin skin sail found on the AC75, the new partial double skin provides a significant improvement of the flow and, with that, increased lift. The reduction in drag results in greater top speed and makes it slippery through lulls. The gains in efficiency also result in greater upwind angles and speed, improving the VMG of the wing. The camber shape of the bottom skin is also optimized for downwind performance allowing you to go deeper and faster downwind. In short; greater aerodynamic efficiency, lower drag, faster top end, higher upwind angles, deeper faster downwind, and improved VMG. The partial double skin allows you to pinch better angles upwind, while its integrated shape and skeletal structure enable it to hold its profile for better downwind performance.
N-Weave 45 Airframe
30% lighter, 3x stiffer, and 2x torsionally stiffer than a traditional Dacron (176gsm). The cross-ply reinforced N-Weave 45 airframe creates a stiffer, lighter rig that holds its shape when under load and has a highly efficient power delivery. The biaxial 45-degree laminate helps to control the torsional stiffness of the airframe. North developed N-Weave, a low-elongation, high tensile strength woven fibre, to help reduce geometric compromise in our inflated structures. N-Weave45 reduces structural deflection and transfers wind energy into greater forward speed. The weight savings translate into greater performance and more efficient power delivery in light air and make the wing easier to handle in all conditions. N-Weave also has very high cut and abrasion resistance. The UPE fibers that makeup N-Weave are known for their resistance to water, moisture, most chemicals, UV and microorganisms. Carbon UDi Technology
Anti-deflection Carbon UD tapes are sewn to the inside of the leading edge to provide additional stiffening and bend resistance while keeping the wing lightweight and responsive. North Sails is renowned for using this technology in their podium-proven 3Di race sails. We’ve implemented the same material inside the entire Leading Edge, from tip to tip, to further stiffen the Mode Ultra’s airframe.
Rigid and direct – feel every micro-gust
The stability and the structure of the wing are critical for resisting deformation. The stiffness translates into a very direct feel in your hands and is extremely responsive. You can feel and maximise every micro-gust. When you’re riding powered-up, we recommend using the Mode Ultra with a harness to reduce arm fatigue. The stiffer frame and ability of the wing to create more forward drive requires more strength to hold onto the wing in overpowered conditions. The Wing Harness Loop is sold separately.
GripLock Carbon Boom
Lighter, faster and more responsive handling. The lightweight, highstrength carbon boom handle is pre-installed on the Mode Ultra, helping to reduce the overall wing weight. The rigid boom ensures a more immediate response and intuitive transitions than a soft handle, for better control and reduced hand fatigue. The boom gives you additional freedom in your hand placement and makes it easier to grab the wing anywhere during manoeuvres. Slide your hands into optimum trimming positions to control the wing’s pitch, yaw and roll while keeping your body positioned perfectly over the foil. Wrapped in a soft EVA grip for comfort, we’ve also positioned a soft, lightweight TPU bumper on the front of your rigid handle, providing additional impact protection for you and your equipment. Place your thumb on the indent for improved depower handling.
Canopy deflection stiffener
4mm rod battens are inserted from the trailing edge to the partial skin to improve rebound reactivity. This allows the canopy to reform back into shape faster when you pump and maintain optimal tension under extreme load.
Radiate Geometric Panel Layout
We’ve refined the panel layout to spread the direction of load evenly across the canopy. The new layout helps to stabilize the wingtips and increases tension under load. Radial load diffusers reinforce the end of the strut and the wingtips, working in harmony with the geometric panel layout to distribute tension more evenly in defined load directions across the canopy. Ultimately, this creates a cleaner canopy with less distortion, which results in reduced drag.
VMG-optimised. Pinch higher, reach deeper.
Our primary design objectives for the Mode Ultra were speed and VMG, or Velocity Made Good, which indicates your speed towards or from the direction of the wind. The Mode Ultra’s fast, VMG-optimized design enables you to sail closer to the wind, on higher upwind angles, reducing your need to tack or gybe, so you reach the mark as quickly as possible. The new partial dual-skin profile allows you to pinch even higher. Thin, low drag sections and flatter dihedral to generate speed and forward thrust. We’ve engineered the Mode Ultra with very thin profile sections and a flatter dihedral for low drag. This increases its potential for high speed at high apparent wind speeds. The faster you go, the steadier it becomes.
Excels at the top of its range
The Mode Ultra starts to generate lift and stability at a higher apparent wind speed, making it more efficient at higher speeds. We’ve designed this wing so riders can confidently upsize, giving you the surface area required to go fast downwind when the apparent wind speed drops. Getting a flat wing going in light air can be challenging, but once you’ve mastered the pump skills required to get up on foil, the faster you can go. For 2025 we’ve increased the size offering in the bigger sizes for the condition where the majority of races take place.
Efficient high aspect ratio design relative to wing size
A higher aspect ratio design is more efficient at higher apparent wind speeds, where the wing generates more lift for a given drag. The 4.2m has the highest aspect ratio, then the aspect ratio lowers with each size. The batten allows us to develop an even shorter span (lower aspect) in the bigger sizes, where the wingspan is further reduced to prevent tip strike.
Carries speed through the lulls
The Mode Ultra’s stiff airframe and canopy combination enhances its light wind performance. It holds power through the lulls without dropping board speed. Dano says this is not true, please test the bottom end and lulls.
Ergonomic strut shape and handle positioning for greater rider comfort
The strut’s shape is ergonomically designed to push the nose of the canopy away from the rider. The further the canopy’s lifting surface is from the handle, the less wrist movement is required to maintain the wing’s attitude.
Detachable low drag tow handle
The lightweight and minimalist depower handle is aerodynamically optimised. The handle can be removed for additional drag reduction.
Strategic Window Positioning
The strategic positioning of the dual LiteVision Mylar windows helps you see further downwind, for safety on the racecourse while keeping weight to a minimum.
Race Bred
The Mode Ultra, is designed purely for speed and VMG. It is weight-optimised, more geared to the top end (although it will carry through the lulls), and generally not as forgiving as the Mode Pro, your High-Speed Performance Freeride Wing. Riders will want to use the biggest Mode Ultra they can hold down for maximum speed, and the fastest foil combo.

Matrix-NHTRS Canopy
Matrix is a high-performance stretch-resistant wing canopy material specifically designed to handle the higher loads of the N-Weave45 frame. Compared to a traditional canopy Matrix is 2.5x stronger on the 0/90deg warp/weft direction and 5x stronger on the 45deg bias direction. This gives your wing canopy greater structural integrity for longer. It will maintain its designed shape over time, especially when used in the overpowered conditions that the Mode Pro excels in.
ShiftLock
Our new intuitive modular handle system lets you slide and lock any length handles (or boom) into any position along the strut. ShiftLock is a re-invention of the Bolt Rope system used in sailing - the most common and robust method to fix a sail to a mast. We’ve adapted this method for wing-foiling, using a double bolt-rope track. To prove the system’s strength and durability, we’ve carried out cyclic load and on-water testing for two years without failure or excessive wear. ShiftLock has a breaking load of well over 710kg. We’ve also kept the system light in weight. Two 500mm ShiftLock Carbon handles (with the track) are lighter than two standard 500mm wing handles. The rigid Carbon ShiftLock handles (sold separately) react instantly to your input, while the soft TPU handle ends help protect you and your board. There are five handle lengths, from the 1100 or 950 boom to the 500, 400, and 250 mm handles.

High speed performance.
The Mode Pro is a high-speed performance freeride wing, while the Mode Ultra is your dedicated racing wing. The new Mode Pro is powered by N-Weave45 airframe with a Matrix Canopy. More freeride-oriented, it has a wider wind range than the Ultra, and is easier to get up and riding. It also has ShiftLock, so riders can customise their handle positioning and size. Use the wind range chart to determine the best sizes for your local conditions.
Big
Air Boosting
We designed the Mode for high-speed performance, but the stiffer airframe also translates into unprecedented loft for higher jumps and forward momentum on landings. Pair the Mode Pro with a ShiftLock Boom to unlock a whole new bag of tricks.
High end stability and impressive wind range
Any rider will benefit from the Mode’s stability and tensioning. Once you’re up on the foil its designed more for stability at the high-end wind range – whereas the Nova and Loft Pro are designed for better performance in the low end. The 3.5 and 4.2m are designed for use in stronger winds, while the 4.8 to 6.5m are optimised for greater power in lighter air. The larger 6.5m is ideal for going at higher speeds in lighter wind. It might be trickier to get up on the foil but once up on the foil it has higher top-end speeds than the Loft Pro (speed is foil dependent too).
Compact outline with reduced wingspan
The Mode Pro has a balanced lower aspect ratio design with rounded wingtips to reduce tip strike.
Connected dual inflation valves
There are two HyperFlow Inflation valves, one on the LE and one on the strut, with an interlinking valve and hose. This enables you to inflate the strut to a higher pressure than the leading edge. The connecting hose allows rapid single-point inflation and deflation. The N-Weave material also has a higher inflation pressure capacity, which enables you to to use a smaller wing size, without sacrificing power.

We’ve placed the longer windows closer to the strut for optimal viewing.
A world of accessories
The Action Camera Mount is only the beginning. Keep an eye out for new ShiftLock accessories, including the ShiftLock Paddle Mounts which can be used to mount a SUP paddle to your wing in place of a handle. Super-efficient low-end power delivery
The Loft Pro Light Wind wing has a deep profile and stiff frame, enabling the most efficient power delivery and low-end pull per m2. Our main focus for the Loft Pro design was to get you up and riding, without needing to pump hard. To get you up on the plane and keep you there as long as possible, through even the zero knot lulls. The framing of the wing is very stiff and reactive. When you pull on with your back arm, the wing delivers direct power and drives you forward.
Balanced load distribution with more positive nose lift
The 2025 Loft Pro has a refined entry profile for more positive nose lift through manoeuvres, with easier gybes, tacks and low-speed transitions. We’ve concentrated the weight in the centre of the wing, keeping the tips and canopy light for effortless manoeuvres and a low swing weight.
Carbon UDi Technology
We’ve placed anti-deflection unidirectional carbon tapes inside the leading edge, for an even more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster.
North Sails is renowned for using 3Di technology in their podium-proven racing sails. Chasing stiffness in the inflated airframe, we’ve applied the same material to the Nova LE with our new patent-pending Carbon UDi technology. The Carbon UD tapes are placed along the inside of the entire length of the LE, providing additional support and enabling us to reduce the LE diameter. This prevents unnecessary deformation while keeping the wing lightweight and responsive.
Stiff N-Weave45 Airframe
Engineered from a high tensile strength woven fiber with cross-ply reinforcement, the N-Weave45 airframe creates a stiffer, lighter rig that holds its shape when under load and has a highly efficient power delivery. The biaxial 45-degree laminate helps to control the biax and torsion of the airframe, resulting in less deflection and movement, and a stiffer overall frame during flight. We’ve also built stiffness into the design through the load distribution on the frame when in use.
Ergonomically shaped GeoStrut
Shaped for better light wind performance. The N-Weave45 GeoStrut has been ergonomically contoured for added rider comfort and integrated with our ShiftLock Modular Track System. The ShiftLock track adds another layer of stiffness, for light wind performance, and gives you the choice of fitting a ShiftLock Carbon Boom or Handles.

Our intuitive modular handle system lets you slide and lock any length handles (or boom) into any position along the strut. Thinner Leading Edge
The Loft Pro’s reduced LE diameter creates a lighter weight, more agile and streamlined wing. Thanks to the Carbon UDi Technology we’ve been able to maintain the same airframe stiffness with a significantly reduced LE diameter. The thinner LE also gives the Loft Pro a slimmer overall profile, for reduced drag and better upwind angles.
Lighter and more precise handling
The 2025 Loft Pro’s refined outline and profile section contribute to its easy handling and stability, especially in lighter wind. The tip-to-tip span is slightly reduced. The centre part of the leading edge has less sweep and we’ve reduced the radius toward the tips, bringing the wingtips further forward. This moves the centre of lift forward, giving the wing more positive lift and stability. The lift pulls you up and forward during tacks and manoeuvres.
Balanced trailering
The uniquely shaped dihedral helps to stabilize the wing. Most of the lift is created in the centre part of the wing, while slightly more profile in the wingtips helps the wing to fly on more of a 45-degree angle, so you’re less likely to catch a wingtip in the water. It also helps you to maintain a stable, neutral position when you’re trailering or walking to the water.

Lower aspect ratio and pulled-in wingtips for
The reduced span width means you’re less likely to catch a wingtip in the water, while the curvature in the wingtip means that if you do touch the water, only a small part of the wingtip will make contact. This creates less drag and improves your chance of recovery.
Refined, weight-saving design
Engineered to feel as light as possible, the Loft Pro has a thinner LE diameter, we’ve stripped all the scuff guards, used the lightest bladders, reduced the number of segments and seams in the leading edge to minimise weight. The canopy is constructed using North High Tenacity Ripstop (N-HTRS) polyester yarn canopy material for lightness, high tear strength and longevity. While there will always be size and weight limitations on such a big wing, how it weighs on the beach is not a representation of how it flies on the water. The Loft Pro handles like a much smaller wing.
Pair with an efficient hydrofoil wing with low stall speed
With a wing of this size, you’ll need to make your transitions at slower speeds. When paired with a bigger hydrofoil in lightwind, you’ll have more time on the foil. A low stall speed helps you to maintain lift through the lulls. The larger SF Series Front Wings, with their low stall speeds, and the larger MAv2 Series are an ideal choice for lightwind winging.
Choose only one wing size
You only need one Loft Pro wing in your quiver. The span width is tailored to be manageable for different riders, so choose the wing best for your size. The 8m is suited to a heavier or taller rider while the 6m is suited more to a lighter or smaller rider. The sizes are optimised for maximum low-end ability.

Our intuitive modular handle system lets you slide and lock any length handles (or boom) into any position along the strut. ShiftLock is a re-invention of the Bolt Rope system used in sailing - the most common and robust method to fix a sail to a mast. We’ve adapted this method for wing-foiling, using a double bolt-rope track. To prove the system’s strength and durability, we’ve carried out cyclic load and on-water testing for two years without failure or excessive wear. ShiftLock has a breaking load of well over 710kg. We’ve also kept the system light in weight. Two 500mm ShiftLock Carbon handles (with the track) are lighter than two standard 500mm wing handles. The rigid Carbon ShiftLock handles (sold separately) react instantly to your input, while the soft TPU handle ends help protect you and your board. There are five handle lengths, from the single 1100 or 950 boom to the 500, 400, and 250 mm handles.
Hybrid N-Weave45 Airframe
The Nova Pro features our high-tensile N-Weave45 material in the strut and the LE centre segment, for stiffness where you need it.
The N-Weave45 segment gives the wing a unique ride performance and crisp input response, with a more forgiving wing tip that twists off nicely during freestyle manoeuvres or wave riding. The ShiftLock track adds stiffness to the strut, making this wing even more reactive and direct, and having the hybrid construction in the airframe helps us to reduce the wing’s overall weight even further.
Hybrid Matrix Canopy
The extra load-carrying capacity of the Hybrid Matrix canopy contributes to the Nova Pro’s high- and increases the wind range. The lighter canopy material means less tension in the front for a cleaner entry profile. Due the new radial panel layout for 2025, we’ve increased the proportion of the Matrix Canopy, for greater torsional strength. A stiffer canopy is essential because the loading increases with the more rigid airframe. The Nova Pro features our stiffer Matrix canopy in the high-load areas. The first 20% of the canopy in the front of the wing is a lighter-weight N-HTRS canopy material. Matrix is a high-performance stretch-resistant wing canopy material specifically designed to handle the higher loads of the N-Weave45 airframe. Compared to a traditional canopy, Matrix is 2.5x stronger in the 0/90deg warp/weft direction and 5x stronger in the 45deg bias direction. The stronger material gives your wing canopy greater structural integrity for longer, so it can maintain its designed shape over time, especially in overpowered conditions.
Carbon UDi Technology
For an even more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster, we’ve extended the anti-deflection uni-directional carbon tapes inside the LE. North Sails is renowned for using 3Di technology in their podium-proven racing sails. Chasing stiffness in the inflated airframe, we’ve introduced the same material in the Nova Pro with our new patent-pending Carbon UDi technology. For 2025 the Carbon UD tapes are placed on the inside, along the entire length of the leading edge, providing additional support and enabling us to reduce the LE diameter. This prevents unnecessary deformation while keeping the wing lightweight and responsive.
Thinner Leading Edge and Profile
The Nova Pro’s reduced LE diameter creates a lighter weight, more agile and streamlined wing. Thanks to the Carbon UDi Technology we’ve been able to maintain the same airframe stiffness with a significantly reduced LE diameter. The thinner LE also gives the Nova Pro a slimmer overall profile, for reduced drag and better upwind angles.
Lighter and more precise handling
The 2025 Nova Pro’s refined outline and profile section contribute to its easy handling and stability in every wind range. The tip-to-tip span is slightly reduced. The centre part of the leading edge has less sweep and we’ve reduced the radius toward the tips, bringing the wingtips further forward. This moves the centre of lift forward, giving the wing more positive lift and stability. The lift pulls you forward and up during tacks and manoeuvres so that you can glide through turns and perform jumps and tricks with ease.
Balanced trailering
The uniquely shaped dihedral helps to stabilize the wing. The majority of the lift is created in the centre part of the wing which reduces the amount of lift generated by the tips, thereby reducing the wing’s sensitivity to oscillation and helping you to maintain a stable, neutral position when you’re trailering. Whether you’re riding downwind swells, surfing, or simply walking towards the water, the stability is instantly noticeable.
Active Twist Wingtips
The Nova Pro trailing edge and overall canopy tension give the wing more low-end power. But then on the high end, the ability of the Dacron wingtips to deflect allows any excess power to bleed off. To counteract the Matrix radial panel layout and N-Weave45 frame stiffness and ensure the wing remains stable at the top end, we’ve tapered the leading-edge diameter toward the wing tips and used a more flexible material. This allows the tip to deflect and dump any excess power. The tapered wingtips also reduce the wing’s swing weight and drag, which helps with overall stability. The Carbon UDi Technology within the LE provides additional support and improves the response time for the tip to spring back.
Maximum low-end power and efficiency
The increased draft in the profile section generates more lift through the centre of the wing, making transitions smoother and boosting Nova Pro’s low-end power when combined with the new radial canopy tensioning. The wing feels smooth to ride and is less sensitive to angle of attack changes. The refined profile section ensures a smooth laminar flow attachment from the LE to the TE (no turbulence)– so the wing retains positive nose lift through all angle of attack changes. This means fewer micro-adjustments in your hand positioning and a lighter feel. When you do a tack, it pulls upward and enables you to glide around effortlessly without any tail drop. It also contributes to the Nova Pro’s excellent loft and hangtime.
Contoured GeoStrut
New for 2025, the segmented strut improves the wing’s ergonomic feel when you ride the Nova Pro with two separate handles. The shape allows you to hold your wing in a more comfortable riding position and can help relieve arm fatigue and elbow strain. Use in conjunction with the new ShiftLock J-Handle for maximum effect.
Dual HyperFlow Inflation Valves
There are two main valves, one on the LE and one on the strut, with an interlinking valve and hose. This enables you to inflate the strut to a higher pressure than the leading edge, so you can adjust for the conditions and your style of riding (and deflate your wing faster).
Radial Load Diffuser for even canopy tensioning
Radial load diffusers reinforce the end of the strut and the wingtips, helping to distribute tension more evenly in defined load directions across the canopy, in alignment with the new Matrix radial panel layout. Ultimately, this creates a cleaner canopy with less distortion, which results in reduced drag.
Refined Wide-Angle Window Positioning
The strategic positioning of the new longer, dual LiteVision windows helps you see further downwind, improving safety on the water while keeping weight to a minimum.

We’ve refined the panel layout to spread the direction of load evenly across the canopy. The new layout helps to stabilize the wingtips and increases tension under load. The radial load diffuser reinforces the end of the strut and the wingtips, working in harmony with the geometric panel layout to distribute tension more evenly in defined load directions across the canopy. Ultimately, this creates a cleaner canopy with less distortion, which results in reduced drag.

N-X6 Trailing Edge Panels
Engineered specifically for use in the highly loaded TE area, the durable and lightweight N-X6 panels help to maintain shape hold over time, provide greater TE tension, dampen flutter and help to create a cleaner release with minimal drag. The lightweight, low-elongation trailing edge panels on the Nova are made from N-X6, a high-performance, stretch-resistant wing canopy material specifically designed to handle higher loads. Symmetrical 6-yarn reinforcement is woven into the fabric every 10mm, both in the warp and weft direction, ensuring the material is ultra-low stretch with ultra-high tear strength. For 2025 we’ve refined the shape of the N-X6 panels, taking the panel cuts further up the Nova wingtips.
GripLock Carbon Boom
Lighter, faster and more responsive handling. The lightweight, highstrength carbon boom handle is pre-installed on all Nova Wings, helping to reduce the overall wing weight. The rigid boom ensures a more immediate response and intuitive transitions than a soft handle, for better control and reduced hand fatigue. The boom gives you additional freedom in your hand placement and makes it easier to grab the wing anywhere during manoeuvres. Slide your hands into optimum trimming positions to control the wing’s pitch, yaw and roll while keeping your body positioned perfectly over the foil. Wrapped in a soft EVA grip for comfort, we’ve also positioned a soft, lightweight EVA bumper on the front of your rigid handle, providing additional impact protection for you and your equipment. Place your thumb on the indent for improved depower handling.

The 2025 Nova will feel lighter in your hands, have more get-upand-go, and direct drive forward. For 2025, we’ve refined the profile, reducing the LE diameter to create a lighter weight, more agile, and streamlined wing. The thinner LE also gives the Nova Pro a slimmer overall profile, for reduced drag and better upwind angles. This results in a faster acceleration, with less pumping.

We’ve optimised the draft position and depth for a user-friendly centre of lift, ensuring there is always a smooth laminar flow attachment from the LE to the TE, and the wing has neutral lift through all angle of attack changes. Comfort Knuckle Guard and tow handle
The new larger, water-resistant custom-moulded EVA knuckle guard under the more rigid front tow handle protects your fingers from abrasion when depowering. The wrist leash attachment point is integrated into the knuckleguard, streamlining the front section of the wing.

Lightweight Bladders
We’ve chosen a lightweight bladder material and strategically double-layered it in load-bearing areas such as the handles, valves, nose, and wingtips. Double layering has been around since the get-go with kites, but winging creates more wear on the bladders, because of the direct load where your hands are. We’ve used two-ply bladders in the Nova before, but we’ve been able to reduce the size of the double layers significantly to lighten the load, by strategically targeting areas where the bladders need more reinforcement. N-HTRS Canopy Material
The Nova is constructed from a high-tenacity ripstop (N-HTRS) canopy material, with a lightweight and durable Dacron LE and Strut. Combined with the N-X6 reinforcement on the trailing edge, this provides the perfect balance of weight to strength where needed.
Durable and Lightweight Dacron Airframe
Chasing a stiffer airframe, we’ve used a strong high-tenacity Dacron for the inflated structures, resulting in less deflection and movement and a stiffer overall frame during flight. The lower stretch material keeps the shape clean and undisturbed under load. We’ve also built stiffness into the design through the load distribution on the frame, and strategically placed a triple-layered LE reinforcement in the load-bearing area of the strut to LE connection. The Carbon UDi Technology further improves the rigidity and response.
Kevlar Strut Connection
A biaxial kevlar (aramid) fibre layer provides internal strength and reinforcement to the connection at the XL-T Joint between strut and leading edge. It is bias cut, so it can flex around the curvature of the strut, with a tight and accurate fit.
Double-Swivel Wrist Leash
The Nova comes complete with a wrist wing leash, for fast wing retrieval. The high-quality elasticised webbing leash with a bungee cord core provides greater forgiveness and helps to soften the jolt when your wing escapes. A Waist Belt with Wing Leash and optional Quick Release Board Leash attachment is also available as an accessory.

Ideal for progressing, the larger sizes provide a stable set-up for learning to wing foil or towing behind a boat. These wings easily generate a great amount of lift without the need to pump, and are super stable so you can focus more on your wing in your hands.
The foil section prioritises pitch stability, early takeoffs and low stall speed. More sweep in the TE than the smaller size helps to make these big wings more manoeuvrable and easier to turn. More anhedral provides directional stability.

As you step down in size, you’ll step up in speed. The smaller sizes are even faster, more agile and have a higher top-end speed. Ideal for freeride wingfoiling at speed, freestyle or in surf, and perfect for kite foiling or wake foiling in the 700, 850 and 1050 size. (1200 for the bigger riders).
The foil section is focused more on low drag when up on the foil, reasonable take-off and stall speeds. The outline balances efficiency and manoeuvrability. The flat centre-section with anhedral further along the span and flattened wing tips delivers predictable turning and improved ventilation resistance.

Offering a frictionless sensation of glide at slower speeds, the Surf Series Front Wings are responsive and agile, with intuitive recovery. A refined balance of roll stability and manoeuvrability gives you confidence during pumping and take-offs, and the ability to initiate smooth and powerful rail-to-rail carves, while the reduced distance between the mast and front wing makes for faster, tighter pivoting turns. The foil is highly forgiving to angle of attack change, which means you don’t need perfect pumping technique to stay on the foil. We’ve kept the span similar between the three larger sizes, to provide the same ride feel. The minimal sweep outline improves low-speed performance and effectively reduces fuselage length compared to swept stabilizers. Advanced riders who are seeking a looser feel may choose to remove the wingtips on the S185, using the dashed guideline graphic, to create a completely flat stabilizer. The S145v2 has an andedral rondure which loosens up the Front Wing in the roll axis.

Its small size and high aspect ratio (11.2) unlock maximum speed and glide, and the anhedral rondure loosens up the roll axis, increasing the manoeuvrability of wider-span front wings. Recommended with our smaller DW690 to DW820, the S122 could also be used for prone foiling by advanced riders seeking speed and glide combined with a loose feel.

Relaxed, speedy, flowy and effortless - an intermediate rider will find the S192 super stable and easy to pump when paired with the smaller Downwind Front Wings. The S192 also pumps efficiently with the Surf Series, is ideal for charging white wash and bigger surf and has so much glide you can pump around to connect waves with ease. For winging, pair the S192 with the bigger Downwind Foils - the glide is the stand-out factor.
S142
The S142 is higher performance, crazy fast and whippy. Your average rider may find it a little more advanced for pumping, but with enough grunt to dig out if you need to. Supercharge your setup for speed with the new High Modulus Mast and smaller Downwind foils. The S142 has enough holding power to take you right up to the DW1400, but we recommend the S192 for the larger Downwind Foils.

SONAR STABILIZER SHIM KIT
The rear Stabilizer’s main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. However, conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot).
The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve, allowing you to increase/ decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position.
With the Sonar Shim Kit you can stack multiple shims, from -0.5 to +2.5 degrees. Positive shimming will increase front foot pressure. Negative shimming will reduce front foot pressure. The full stack (+2.5deg) creates the maximum recommended AOA to ensure your stabilizer is still effective without creating drag.

If your board is trimmed too nose-down at speed when powered riding, add the shim with the thick edge under the leading edge of the mast. This will enable you to gain back a more comfortable stance and control over the board, preventing nose drops at higher speeds.

The HM80 favours disciplines without wind powerprone surf, pump and downwind. The shorter chord length over the entire mast length reduces drag and increases manoeuvrability. This delivers more glide, more efficient pumping, and quicker turns.
HM85
The HM85 covers all disciplines, with a focus on wingfoiling. Wind-powered disciplines require edging against the wind to create forward drive. Some of this drive comes from the front wing and some comes from the mast. To efficiently provide this drive, the chord length in the submerged part of the mast is slightly longer. It increases near the top of the mast to maximise stiffness with no drag penalty, as this part of the mast is clear of the water once on foil.

The HM105 has been optimised for racing. The thickness of the submerged part of the mast is a further 1mm thinner than the HM80 and HM85, to provide maximum top-end speed. As a result this mast is not for jumping. Like the HM85, the chord length in the submerged region has been tailored to provide good upwind drive, while the chord length increases above the waterline to maximise stiffness.

What is High Modulus?
Modulus of Elasticity (E) is a measurement of the stiffness of a material and is defined as the ratio of stress to strain when the material is deformed. The higher the modulus, the stiffer the material (i.e., the greater the stress necessary to cause deformation).
High Modulus carbon fibers are created through specialized heat treatment processes which deliver much higher tensile modulus values around 393001Pa (Pascal), but at a reduced tensile strength of 640 ksi. This fiber will produce a part that is much stiffer but will lower tensile strength.

Our new refined aluminium foil section gives the best balance between light weight and increased strength for higher loads. 30% stiffer than the AK mast yet only 13% heavier. The Masts have a Foil Drive Motor Pod pre-installed at one of three positions. The greater the distance the motor pod is from your board, the more electric assistance it will provide while you’re foiling. An FDE-FOIL offers a complete E-Foil experience, while an FDA20 and FDA15 will provide speed to lift up onto the foil, and then your foil takes over.

Bevelled rails help with touchdown recovery, creating a wider deck with a narrower footprint. The effect is like having a smaller board. It has usable display panels on both sides and a base on wheels that extends on either side. These units can be placed anywhere in the store and arranged next to each other to create aisles.
Each unit is fitted with horizontal slat panels separated by a series of grooves 100mm apart, into which hooks or shelving brackets can be slotted. (NS Logo branded display hooks and retail shelves are available separately). The attachments slide in and out of position, so you can change hangsell displays without using drills or screwdrivers.

NOTE: 250mm Handles can be used on any wing with any front/rear handle combination. 400mm J-Handles can be used in place of any front handle. A 3.5m wing is compatible with an 1100 Boom, however, only the 950 Boom can be combined with the ShiftLock Action Camera Mount. The 2.9m Nova Pro is compatible with only the 950 Boom or 2x Handles - the 1100 Boom will not fit on the Track. ShiftLock Handles are not compatible with GripLock.
