With Welcome & Invitation... ADULT OPPORTUNITIES

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study

Wednesdays, beginning September 7 | 9:30-11:30 am Room 209 The meaning of Christianity rests upon the meaning of the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, and the meaning of His life, His deeds, His teachings, His death, and His resurrection. Wednesday Women’s Bible Study invites you to join us as we begin studying the life of Jesus in the Book of Matthew. Word by word, verse by verse, we will study in depth Matthew’s narrative of the ongoing story of Jesus’ life and death, intertwined with His teachings on certain subjects. Matthew shows how Jesus’ life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament Scriptures, and His purpose and work in the world. This Gospel is the “how to” manual for the individual disciple and the early church. Pastor Meta Herrick Carlson begins our time together with a dynamic presentation of specific Matthew chapters we have studied, and ends our time together with a small group discussion reflecting on those same passages. You will be amazed to discover how wide and high and deep Christ’s love is, which leads us all into deeper love for, and loyalty to, Jesus Christ. Come, hear, learn, and have fun, with amazing women! Bring your Bible! Study Guides and Commentaries will be available. Questions? Please contact Maggie Valenta, at 952.484.9830 / maggiemoen@aol.com.

Crossways

Four times weekly, beginning Wednesday, September 14 There’s always time to join the journey, as we continue to walk together through the whole of the Bible, and unfold the story in new and exciting ways! We hope to meet you wherever you are new to the Bible, a seasoned reader, or anywhere in between. Each week we travel the same journey through the Scriptures together. Crossways is offered four times per week to fit multiple schedules and learning styles. Have to miss a session? No problem. We post the Wednesday night presentations online to watch later, or feel free to drop-in on a different day. Books for this series are available for pickup in the church office.
