Reception Seasonal Walk
On Tuesday, Reception went on a seasonal walk as part of their new topic. They looked for signs of the different seasons and completed a checklist with their findings.
It was a misty afternoon when the Under 9 Girls headed to Hallfield for a Hockey fixture on Tuesday. All the girls played extremely well and showed great team spirit and energy. A special mention to Isabella L, who received PE Star of the Week for her superb display throughout all the matches. Well done to all the girls involved.
Junior STEM - Harborne Library
The children enjoyed exploring the books in the children’s area. During the walk, we noticed lots of fallen leaves and discussed the seasonal changes.

Reception Maths
The children have been exploring different forms of measure. They used cubes to measure how tall they were and compared the range of heights in the class.
Art
Year 3 have been working hard creating their mixed media Viking murals. This week they have been using tissue paper to create the sunset .
