EHS Swimming Gala
The recent swimming gala at EHS was a huge success! The children demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and determination throughout the event. It was wonderful to see their hard work in various races and relays. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and encouragement, and every participant gave their best effort.

Welsh Ironman
The children have been investigating simple mechanical machines including levers, pulleys, ramps, pivots and screws. They have used this knowledge to help them as they have built cranes, clocks and windmills using the Knex Kits.
Mr Strong and Mr Hines have been training all year for Ironman Wales, taking place on Sunday 22nd September. The triathlon race consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and a 26 mile marathon. We wish them the best of luck on Sunday!

EYFS Trip to MiniBrum at Think Tank.
On Friday 13th, Transition and Reception went to the Think Tank Museum to see 'MiniBrum', an interactive miniature city which the children thoroughly enjoyed to complement their topic 'My Home and my City'. They explored Birmingham landmarks such as the Old Joe Clock Tower, Selfridges and Birmingham canals, as well as becoming adults for the day, roleplaying hairdressers, cashiers, doctors, mechanics and builders. Both classes represented the school with impeccable behaviour and we are very proud of them!
