Outdoor Learning
Year 1 and Year 2 took their first walk to the Botanical Gardens and back in their STEM lesson this week. The children honed their skills in walking responsibly and safely crossing roads.
Year 5 have been studying the Solar System and thinking about the distances between the planets. Why not ask them which planet is halfway between the Sun and Pluto. They have made pocket Solar Systems.
House Captain Elections
On Tuesday morning, we had our first house assembly of the year. Year 6 pupils pitched to their house on why they would make a good House Captain and leader. The votes have been counted and verified! House Captains were revealed during Celebration Assembly this morning.
