For me death row inmates are sub humans. they are the sewer of society. They are dirty laundry and they deserve to be treated as animals. I believe that a harsh treatment a death row imates receives while waiting for his liquidation, is one aspect of his entire punishment for his deed until he goes for his appointment with the death chamber.

Quite frankly when someone committs a truly horrible act (like the trash that dragged Mr. Bryd to his death in Texas) or Richard Ramirez, I don't care if there life in prison is hell.

Spencer Goodman on 1/18 Divid Hicks on 1/20 Larry robison on 1/21 This year is already off to a flying start and should top 100 executions by years end. Now if every state would follow "the leader", hundreds of millions would be saved to tax payers. It is a sick situation this long undue process of the law before we remove the cancerous plague of murderers from our society. You can bet if you had Killer cancer you would hurry to remove it before it destroys you. Why then delay with cutting out the Killers in and of our society.
States that execute well Everyone is aware that Texas leads the nation in executions, but Virginia is also doing an excellent job. They passed Florida some time ago and pulled into second place. Florida was moving right along, but I guess the little things that go along with an electrocution have slowed things down somewhat. Maybe a switch to lethal injection will speed things up.
Personally, I enjoy checking the death penalty web sites to see who has been executed and in which state. These criminals committed horrible acts and hurt innocent people, and there is a certain degree of pleasure and contentment in knowing that they received the ultimate.
Why should we as tax payers, pay for these animals to remain in prison, eating 3 meals a day and enjoying education, learning skills and any other "luxuries" which has been denied their victims. I only hope that more countries initiate the death penalty and make criminals pay for their actions.

Executions should be public and made universally viewable live on prime time news medias. What is there to be ashamed of, so that executions have become a closed door process. If a 2 or 5 year old can plan and execute a heinous murder, he must be very much sicker than I am. The options on this, would be to lock him up forever, or to kill him. I would surmise that some of these folks that are "innocent" and on death row have criminal backgrounds. Now maybe they did not actually committ the crimw for which they are charged, but I am not going to lose any sleep , because some career criminal that has a lenghty arrest record has been sent to death row. My fiance and I are both strongly in favor of the death penalty. He is a probation and parole officer and I must say he is one of the good ones. He doesnt put up with any crap from the scum sucking trash he has to put up with every day:) Anyway, he is looking for pro death penalty posters or whatever to put up in his office, specifcally a picture of an electric chair, just to emphasize to them that he feels very stongly about what he does and belives in.
