Removing moisture from the Aspirin to give us solid crystals

One of our highlights this term includes our 3-week project of the production of aspirin. In addition to this, the Science Society has hosted several interesting and interactive discussions. One of the most thoughtprovoking was 'the effects of opioids on the brain'. It was a great opportunity for students to learn more about this important topic and engage in interactive discussions.

The society has also published a magazine article titled 'the science behind'. The article covers a wide range of scientific topics, including the history of scientists as well as contemporary issues such as drug and steroid use.

Overall, the Science Society has had a successful year, and we are proud of all its members for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing more of their contributions in next term.
