Teacher: Mr. Kannin

Pursuant to the words of The Prophet (ﷺ): "The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: 'Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite."

The Islamic Studies Department conducted the Quran competition on April 12th, 2023, for the fourth consecutive year.

Forty-two participants out of the sixty, from grades 1 through 11, qualified to the final round of the competition.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs' well-known prime preacher Dr. Adnan Al-Khateeb lead the competition's judging committee. We have made sure that arbitration in this competition was offered by a neutral third party to deliver the best results for our pupils.

There were two primary competition categories: The mainstream competition in the allocated Surahs according to the grade curriculum, and the elite competition in Juzu Amma, Juzu Tabark, and both.

Our students’ excitement to participate in the holy Quran competition and their eagerness to get the results were astounding, the Islamic department teachers extend their sincere congratulations to all the contenders and especially to our twelve winners who showed their wonderful competitive spirit and deserved our deepest appreciation.

Finally, the Islamic Department would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the parents who contributed to the competition prizes and helped make it a huge success.
